Ha, awesome! Yeah, really fitting those first Genesis-words! Cheesy Did he also have to scan his palms, enter his deepest fears and provide blood samples like everyone else? (I may be wrong about the palm-scans, though)

I wonder how many of these big figures are actually interested in cryptocurrency as opposed to using it as a way to increase their popularity.

Ha yeah, I was wondering the same. But still, many people actually do get the advantages of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. First people shun it but when they realize the potential, they change their minds!

Keep in mind though, that they're not really using Bitcoin in that case. They're merely buying them. If they actually use them isn't for sure. But you are right that there indeed are several "big figures" and board members of big companies that have bought their stash of BTC 'just in case it takes off'

That looks like a great news at first. But don't think it's very likely that UK will create a friendly BTC environment if US is gonna go the other way (of over-regulating, see Lawsky's proposal).

It is good. You know of Satoshi who started bitcoin with the words of a Chancellor - but not of a the later Chancellor Osborne - UK Chancellor of the Exchequer.
