3 antminer wil cost 0.6 according to you and that's 600 ghash
1 antminer will cost 0.68, for 440 gh/s....., OC only adds 20 gh/s, so no ant s3 is more expensive then the ant s1.....

Do the math.....

How true, but with only .38BTC they will only be able to buy 1 S1, until you get enough to buy more, but member was willing to sell his for .25BTC so my real point was you can get them for around .2BTC not .25BTC..trying to saving him a little BTC

Don't forget the kw/gh factor as well.  The S3 is much more efficient than the S1 I believe.

I'd try and find a deal on 2x S1's, or scrounge up another .02 and then you can get 2 all day long on here for sale..

Thanks guys for the responses. I'm in Australia. I currently have 1 Avalon 3 290gh module hashing away. I've had offers of S1's now from a number of people but I think they're too inefficient nowadays. I think the only  thing to do from here is to continue mining until I can afford another Avalon 3 or similar (maybe Rockminer or BTCGarden) or something used and more effiecient pops up! You can also pencil mod the S1 to 140gh at half the power.
