regarding the static ip requirement to run a mantisweb node, i assume this is to maximize fees/interest available to the particular node.

for those of using dynamic dns services, will there any way to bind the mantisweb node to our domain instead of our ip address?

it would be great if could keep my uptime credit when my ip changes if i have dynamic dns in place for my domain.

Currently dynamic ip address aren't supported but we are working on a solution as we do realize not every ISP allows static ip addresses or charges extra.

It is in the works but in current state it will reset your interest credit as such.

We are trying to be as transparent as humanly possible as we think that is the way it should be. Sorry to hear if anyone invested in JADE, as we have stated dev's like that make our job hard as it makes it next to impossible to prove that we are the real deal and that we are commited.

In saying that, it doesn't change anything, Mantis is here to stay and so are we!

I never understand why Devs don't do at least a 25% pre mine. As long as people can see where the coins are being spent from an early stage. like public display of coins, then there is no issues. I would rather a coin development team had the funds to keep running until it can sustain itself. If the coins are not needed, destroy them.

Thanks for the kind words, we are trying to be as active and transparent as possible! There will be a big write up / FAQ on MantisWeb released soon but in essence it is the back bone of all our future features/developments. Essentially a MantisWeb is a 'trusted supernode' and gains benefits for being one depending on its up-time. Benefits have been covered in the sneak preview.
