Hello

I purchased a Zues Lightning from ZoomHash

http://zoomhash.com/collections/top-sellers/products/44mhs-scrypt-asic-miner-1000w-delivery-within-10-days-or-it-is-free

I purchased a Aurum Pro PSU
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111407604397?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

The issue I am having is that I am unable to connect the two due to lack of PSU / power knowledge

I have 4 x 6 PIN PCI cables from the lightning box and I have 2 X 6 pin PCI-E1 (powered from the PSU VGA connection) and 2 x 6 Pin PCI -E2 from the PSU. There must be some 6 pin to 6 pin connection I am missing?

Can anyone help?

Also where does the cable from the miner for the fan go?

Used the four PCI-E cables from the power supply and connect each one separately to the four power connectors on the Zeus. The power supply cables should be 6/8 pin connectors. The fan on the Zeus should be powered by a molex cable from the power supply.

the issue is how do I connect the four pci-e connections from the PSU to the miner?

The pictures shows the two sets of cables / connections are incompatible, they are both 6 pin PCI connections.

The 6 pin connection on the Zues connections to the board like this

https://plus.google.com/photos/112449231578286062172/albums/6045267715170452337/6045267726741657554?banner=pwa&pid=6045267726741657554&oid=112449231578286062172

Its almost as if I need a bridge between two 6 pin PCI connections

You're screwed/need a new PSU.  The connectors on the Zeus unit are designed to plug straight into the PSU.  Loooks like the Aurum only has 2 that would work.

Return the power supply you got and get this one

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=CPXH4aq0hMACFUw2aQodZF8AEw&Item=N82E16817153145&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Power+Supplies-_-N82E16817153145&ef_id=U9ga7AAABE9CT49F:20140808193250:s

From the video on Zoomhash that looks like the one they are using.  Your connectors are plugging into the power supply.

I've been using one of these on my lightning x6. It comes with the necessary VGA (pci-e) cables.

as some one said this is your best bet  http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/sis.html?_nkw=1300W%20EVGA%20G2%20SuperNova%20Full%20Modular%2080%20PLUS%20Gold%20ATX%20PSU&_itemId=131143089667

it comes with four plug you want to plug one per pci plug in that miner do not double up . it will over heart and may burn out the PSU  and if its not wired right you need to replace all four wires in side the miner to 16 GW with male plugs for the PCI plug to  PSU . I am run ing a  x6 thunder right now had to rewire it so the wires didn't get hot etc .  don't use a gender plug between the PSU and the miner, plug it direct in to the miner and PSU  for safely and peace of mine .

ny thunder X6 is OC to hold a steady 23 to 24 MH  hard errors with in the 10 % range or  lower . very few rejects if any etc . only thing i don't like about any of the Zeus products is the fans are to dam loud i have 3 replacements coming that should work  fine and are a lot quieter .

the replacements are these  http://www.ebay.com/itm/380922276988?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

if that's how it's wired i would rewire it to one PCI per blade to be safe and no over heating wires . but that's me.
