interesting but just hopping onto the SHA256-btc_NET is not just a matter of forking new code, pool adoption is another hurdle.
will watch but i'm unimpressed with Dan-O-Sphere works ... thus far

mmpool is down already and a few others.. check my github to see whats in the works.. danosphere is not the core coder I am.. since I took over ive added many value added featured that will translate into a real decentralized market at the commercial level rather than at the hacker level. Im serious check it out dude.. im doing unit tests so you can see what features exists and how they work.. dan is doing higher level api integrations and its the next step in our evolution. What part are you not impressed about?

just that i've not seen anything impressive ... yet ... heard aLOT of TALK and HYP and SYS hit a VIRAL buzz ... other projects have products shipped out in less time.

i understand SYS is working on the bigger picture, and maybe that should be the project, attaching all the main networks from BTC, LTC, ETH, NXT, bts, xem, t0, and even Expanse ... so still watching

if you show me the wallet of the future that can 'getinfo' from lets say the top 100 blockchains, and has ways to communicate between chains (read/write in the all blocks) then yeah ... sYs is sssss super sleeper stuff.

but i don't think the nxt Ebay model is feasible ... there will be 1000s of 'markets' and dozens of major coins in use ... what is needed is a system that networks them all into one giant API super feed.

To my knowledge we have the best decentralized market coming out in feb, anything out there will be erased due to lack of features

Hint: open baZaar is offchain so does not even qualify. Other coins that are POS dont qualify either due to lack of software horsepower. Think twice about questioning this statement without proper research.

This shall be possible and the first step is acct with bitcoin using cltv with tier nolans approach.. Ciyam already demonstrates that it works.. Watch for dans blog post which hints at this tomorrow.

CANN is a nice base money and network, but the project still too vague, but this might not matter, get a better project going and CANN is in a good position.

BTC is phasing into elite money status, and smart ALT exchanges will realize too dangerous to touch.  LTC will likely fill the void first but long term the 'popular' currency stands to be Doge.

BLK is top level POS, so well worth paying attention to where it goes from here.

VNL has speed, and low inflation, it has potential to be a powerful tool.

EMC is assuming the NAME coin project (block chain data) and looks legit.  But too hot ATM.  But may retain a top 10 ranking by years end.  Still greatest sleeper act thus in year 2016.  Well played Russia  Looks like YB is the Chinese act and the Yaun Bao coins have potential to cause thunder of their own.

I agree with the term "superSLEEPERS".

There are some fine coins that have been around for years that could easily fill bitcoin's shoes as far as tech and usage.  Surviving this long in this climate is big AFAIC.

There are many newer coins with great promise but remain unproven on many fronts.

Until people rally around one or a few coins as they have with btc, the ecosystem will remain diluted with nothing really taking off.
