I;m not currently spending bitcoin as I believe in them as a currency and think their use is only going to grow, so am saving them as an investment. I can't wait to spend them and see what I can get for my money though.

I think that's a wise idea and I'd like to do that too (though I don't have much at the minute) as I'm sure it's only a matter of time before we see quite a hefty price rise again, so holding on to coins for a while could be a good investement.

This is a commonly held view, but it's not so simple. We can't so easily gauge off-exchange demand. I suspect processors like Bitpay and Coinbase only sell on the exchanges when it is profitable for them to do so. And I don't think that they usually dump all coins they process on exchanges -- not at all -- so I am not sure how much it depresses price.

Spend Bitcoin at every opportunity you get and replace it immediately. That helps to get it into the system and gives it more value.

That's what we are all hoping for but it's very likely to happen for most companies since Dell have opened their doors they have been making a great profit I think other companies need to jump on it and accept Bitcoin.

I haven't spent any of my coins yet, but I'm itching to. I just can't bring myself to spend any at the moment when the coins were worth double what they are at the moment. I hope that in a few years a half of all e-merchants would make a possibility to pay with BTC
I sure hope you're right. The benefits to them as merchants are many compared to credit cards and paypal etc.

I've spent a little amount. I gambled a little, topped up my phone and bought a few takeaways, but I'm more inclined to join the hoddlers now and see where bitcoin goes.
