This thread is meant as a centralized location for attempting to recover decentralized currency payments (see what I did there?  Cheesy). I've seen several cases where someone has accidentally sent a payment or high fee and a case or two of someone receiving a large payment out of the blue.

The goal of this thread is to connect losers with winners so that mistakes can be rectified. Of course, no one can be forced to return an accidental transaction, but it's the right thing to do and I think we have some good people in this forum.

If you've made a payment by mistake or sent a (very) high fee by accident, please post here and hopefully the person receiving the payment will check here and see your post.

If you received a mysterious payment, you can be a really nice guy and post here to help the sender recover what they sent.

and how will it be proved? by information in bitcoin wallets? there may accidentally appear many 'losers' wishing to receive other people's money.

Good if the user actually controls the private keys it was sent from, bad if they sent from an exchange or other wallet out of their exclusive control.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

Exactly. In fact I meant to have that on the notice form so I'll add it now.

That's my hope. Honestly though I am surprised to get positive feedback. I expecting mostly trolls.  Wink
