I am trying to get a better understanding of how his works

I made a counterpart wallet with the 12 word seed and everything, it gives me one address which appears to be a btc address cus it starts with a 1

So, I ascertain I send btc directly to that address, which I have control over, and then from the counterpart wallet, send .084 to the presage address? And that is for 50,000 skull but where do the skull go? There is no skull address or wallet in the counterpart wallet only a btc and xcp wallets

This is the first time I have used counterpart and I am only doing i because skull coin looks cool as fuck I can't believe this thread has only 7 pages lulz I feel lucky to be getting 50,000 for less than a .1

I just don' understand how the skull coins will actually be received.

Also, there is an address in the presage that has 84% of the coins, that is the address that holds the presale? Remaining coins not sold in presale will be destroyed?

Thank you for the great question. I'm sure that everyone has this question at some point.

You have it exactly right. There is no skull address. "SKULLCOIN" is a layer on top of the bitcoin blockchain(highly secure). You will get skullcoins at the same "BTC" address that is in your "CounterWallet". Because it is on the bitcoin blockchain you could even use a desktop wallet like "Armory" to store your "SkullCoin"(you would need specific instructions that can be found in the SkullCoin FaQ post on Reddit to do that correctly).

Yes, that is the presale address(84% of the coins). Remaining coins will be destroyed if terms are met. It all depends on how much support we get. The extra coins may end up on a central exchange. With CounterParty you don't have to worry about me dumping the coins on holders, so you can rest assured of that. Everything is transparent and I will do what the majority of coin holders want me to do because they own the majority of shares. Any shares that I keep will be bought myself.

Keep with the great questions.

How many coins it is possible to buy for 0.5 BTC?

1. CounterWallet has a great calculator built in. Go to the DEx and choose "SkullCoin" as (token 1) and "BTC" as (token 2).

2. Down in the "Buy SKULLCOIN" box make sure price is "0.00000168".

3. In the total "BTC" box type "0.5". The amount of "SkullCoin" you will receive shows right above it in the amount box.

Ok, I figured out how this xcl wallet works, I think. I entered he giveaway for 200 Skull, and now I would like to buy some more.

When will the coins from the giveaway show up, and where exactly can I go to see my skull balance?

If I want to buy more skull coins, can I just fund my XCP wallet with btc, then go to the Dex (exchange tab in left corner) and just send buy Skull with the BTC I funded the wallet with?

Is this a set price? Out of the ten million, what if only 5 million sell? does that mean you will control other 5 million, or will they be destroyed?

This is all in BETA so I'm in no hurry. Right now I'm just figuring out how everything is going to work and testing it. I think most people are waiting for after launch as well.

The Great Pyramid wasn't built in a few weeks.

The XCP is the CounerParty currency. It can also be used to buy "SkullCoin".

"SkullCoin" is a set price. Once they are distributed it will no longer be a set price and the free market will take control of the price.

I will control the other 5 million but only until they are all distributed or destroyed. I cannot dump them on current holders.

You will see the "SkullCoin" balance in the "CounterWallet".

If you are using the DEx you need to make sure you are doing it correctly or it wont work. Instructions are in the OP [ANN].

SkullCoin is number 68 on the voting list:

 https://cryptoine.com/voting/

each unique IP can vote once per day per coin (+ or -).  Coins with highest points get added to the exchange.

Edit: went from #95 to 68 pretty quickly
