So i have been running my rocket box controlled by a raspberry PI for a while now with  slush's pool. but want to give solo a run for a bit, (i dont want opinions on why or why not to solo) but i have no idea how to set up my PI and box to run solo.

do i need a new SD card configured to solo? if so how?Huh?

do i need to cut the pie and slave the box to my desktop? if so how???

or whatever else? can some one please step by step me (or link me to the directory)?

thank you Smiley

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

You will need to setup a bitcoin node and run it in server mode; the guide linked below assumes you have a windows 7 desktop.

http://ukminers.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=112

You can still run the pi and rbox and just point it at the new node

This account was hacked & possibly sold during the period of August 1st and October 24th 2017.
Anything done or said in this period wasnt me.
Many thanks to Cyrus for his help restoring access to my account.
