Is Magi down? I am seeing some very quick blocks come through. Like back in 2018 when That guy hacked Magi and killed the price of it.

Also getting a lot of blocks that are not confirming. Mining at Trasmamod. Not sure whats going on.

13/02/2021: 18:30 (UTC+1): The magi network is currently affected by a blockchain split. Until we have more clarify we stopped our stratum servers to protect our miners.

In the past it was fixed by syncing to only Joes node that was defined as the right chain.

As Joe doesn't seem to care anymore we need a different solution this time.

By digging a little into my logs the current problem is that the nodes ban each other constantly.

I was able to get on the longest chain by adding

to my magi.conf, close the wallet, deleting peers.dat and restarting it.

it doesn't prevent others banning you, but it prevents you from disconnecting from other nodes.

Those are the instructions for who can't connect to the nodes with the wallet:
-first shutdown the wallet
-go to the magi folder and delete peers.dat
-then add those lines on the magi.conf:
addnode=82.65.215.193
addnode=51.89.116.25
addnode=146.59.3.53
addnode=51.89.116.26
addnode=163.172.122.60
bantime=60
banscore=10000
-Save the magi.conf and now it should connect

Added them nodes and still unable to sync. I am 4590 blocks behind. 7 days it says. Any Idea? That is my conf file below.

Finally loaded through. Not sure what happened but after a couple hours of leaving it open, it finished. Old waller pc I had left on for a couple days and no change. Weird.
