If you read the thread, there is a tiny controller board that daisy chains up to 32 mining boards (8 miners). Do the hardware manufacturers even realize what the bitcoin difficulty is lately? We need asic miners that perform in the > 4th/s range at this point.
Go design one then. |

I can assure you that manufacturers know what the difficulty is. what's the point of this question? who is " we" ? large mining operations or individual miners? say, if at home, do you think you actually have an outlet to handle a 4th/s piece of equipment from any manufacturer today? |

Hashing Unit: 0.215 BTC/piece for <400 pieces, 0.208 BTC/piece for >=400 pieces.
MOQ at 40 pieces.

You're forgetting that the controller can handle 32 blades so it's much more than 4th/s per miner. |

That's a good point, thanks. I think though someone said there are 4 blades per unit for a total of 8 units. Some datacenters don't really like having people putting in units with exposed pcb/s though. Good for the home market though. |

great question, I'd like to know as well... Yes, too quiet to actually care. Because BE200 chips don't care about getting hot, the central air core comes out hairdryer hot, which allows the fan to run nice and slow. Nice and slow means nice and quiet. I was sure my unit wasn't running until I saw the 900GH on the interface. Quieter than an S1 yet double the power  [ What is the temp range the BE200's are running at on the rig you have? Trends |

Very interesting! I's incredible how times are changing, a year ago those prices would only give you a Block Erupter USB stick with 330 MH/s, yet it would run at 2.5W!
True enough the mining sphere has changed drastically since 2013 Difficulty and what not still this isn't a bad unit and no pre-order it's ready now ^_^. |

As the saying goes: 'a picture is worth one thousand words'; a video could help show the relationship (and quantity) of components and the 'beauty' of the design and so help some buyers estimate the assembly cost/time.
The assembly could include references to the handy tools and extras (thermal paste? non slip pads/tape for the front/back panels, screws, fan grill for the pretty version?, typical PSU) that could or would be needed but are not for sold by AM as part of the package.

What is the temp range the BE200's are running at on the rig you have?

Hard to say exactly as there are no on die temp probes, but from the pcb temp probes on other BE200 units, hot. And from the exhaust temps of the air, very, very hot. There should probably be a warning sticker on the end away from the fan not to touch the units as they're too hot to touch (including the aluminium stand) when running. |
