i knew the image that the "litecoinguy" posted was Richard bransons island. but i just presumed he linked a random island image just for the sake of it..
where as the "bitcoin island party" never mentions any details such as: how many hotel rooms that may be available, (they want a mass crowd, then its stupid to pick a small island with just 1 hotel with 50 rooms) which week which island
so i put "the litecoinguy" post aside, and was concentrating on the money grab campaign from coinapult. (the madhatter). but from what i can see it is most definetly a money grab. cheeky beggers!
id rather a campaign be where they mention the lation and the dates (a specific week) and allow us to just use expedia and other bitcoin accepting travel sites to book the hotel/filight. rather than doing these crap centralized money grabs, just to make them richer.

Bitcoin Island Party Join Coinapult, Aspen Assurance & Bitcoin Beauties for the first tropical Bitcoin party! We are throwing a full-island party called The Bit Drop for an entire nation in the Caribbean. The Bit Drop will be sending Bitcoin to every resident with SMS texting on this Caribbean island — roughly tens of thousands of people who call this island home will be part of a unique experience. Each islander will own Bitcoin and celebrate in style with well-known surprise musical artists who support Bitcoin, fire dancers, sponsored tropical island spirits, free giveaways, and full bitcoin education booths during the event. http://letthebitdrop.com/ I'm aware of Coinapult & Bitcoin Beauties. But what is this Aspen Assurance ? What do they do ? Who's behind it ?

aspen assurance turn bitcoins into FIAT. kinda strange for a fiat converter to be involved in a PURELY bitcoin hand out project. which also led me to believe it was a money grab.. as there would be no need at all to even touch fiat, if this were a true bitcoin project. but yea its kinda obvious to be a money grab when the 'off-shore bank account' company is involved rather than expedia

Strange, this looks like Necker Island? (which happens to be a private island) It's possibly a scam, if you ask me.
If you look at the name of the picuture... you are indeed correct. Yet, the picture seems to have nothing to do with letthebitdrop.com. Maybe OP just googled "nice island"? In fact I only see a single page with a lot of text that does not make me want to send them money. All 3 announced thebitdrop on their twitter though.[1] [1] https://twitter.com/hashtag/TheBitDrop?src=hashcorrect. sorry for the confusion i dont know if this whole thing is real or scam. i just wanted to say that, if its legit, its a cool idea.

.1 though, I rather save it and hope one day its worth a vacation on its own. I join you in the saving-bitcoin club.

Richard Branson accepts BTC for some air flights, maybe soon he will add vacations at his island resort. The future is pretty close to limitless.

Only $55 to enter! Careful everyone. This smells fishy. Yea, I don't buy this shit for a second. If you 'donate' how would they even know who won? They are not collecting any info from you. What 'island' are they referring to?

I checked out that Bitcoinbeauties website, and I'm trying to figure out if those girls are bitcoin prostitutes. Considering one of them has no information other than her pics, my suspicion is yes.
This whole scheme reeks of a way to catch a few dumb lonely bitcoin whales, lure them to a tropical island, and bleed them of as much wealth as possible.
