Hi Ozboom
I just added around 240000 votes, we are second on the list now and I'll add few more in the next couple of days Smiley
Hey London, we were #1 for a moment but Smileycoin is in the race! I got some interest on the Fibre slack, so we will get some help. Still 17 hours to go. And if we miss this week's voting, we can go all the way up to 1 bct (=5Mdots) to get listed anyways...
It's a small exchange though, with just 600$/24h atm:
http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/cryptopia/
But hey, an extra xchange for Fibre can't hurt Smiley

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

mxxxxxx any news on fibre?
Hi First, lead dev Killa is now busy launching The Viral Exchange (based on sister coin Blitz), but the Fibre team is still very activally working on FibreOS-FibreDevice, FibreLock & FibreDark from what I gather.
Mx is a better source though, he should answer your question soon enough...

mxxxxxx any news on fibre?

These are the latest

1. Link to the latest official wallet 3.5.2 is updated http://www.fibrecoin.com/getstarted/

https://mega.nz/#!CsVQTKKY!SmxxNiuRIHyeacIXbX3ltfcz10Sjs1ztfLWWCwGzDUU

2. Here you can test new proof of concept wallet with FibreLock v2 - latest security innovation from Fibre - mouselogger, keylogger and bruteforce proof! as of now with todays computing powers

We are very proud as no bugs or security issues were found in FibreLock v2 code which is also open sourced

http://www.fibrecoin.com/news/fibrelock-v2-next-generation-wallet-security/

!!! Remember please to test proof of concept wallet with FibreLock v2 on new clean wallet.dat as you won`t be able to unlock old wallet with new method until Mammix2 combines them both methods in the coming wallet

3. The next step, after new wallet comes handling both methods, is integration of FibreLock v2 in BTC wallet to introduce it to the world and maybe if lucky to get some review from BTC devs

4. We are in process of integration into SuperNET Multigateway http://multigateway.org/ which means you will be able to trade with Fibre on NXT Asset Exchange and it means also integration to InstantDEX http://instantdex.net/ SuperNET decentralized exchange is close Smiley If possible Fibre will be integrated into MGW with next SuperNET lite wallet release

5. Jl777 developed much improved coinshuffle version which is handling all problems known to the anon world so far! and what we consider will be the best anon implementaion in the crypto world so far and what is most important the code is compatible with Fibre ^^

Cheers

Anything new ? Been awhile since I have seen any posts....Just keeping things up to date....A lot of new investors  come to bitcointallk to look for  coins I just like to keep the thread moving a little.

Not yet, working still on next release, we don`t want to give any ETA to not disappoint

Bct is not the best place to look for longterm investors...but feel free to spread any info about Fibre anywhere https://slack-files.com/T02PXPVUF-F03DM47DB-f06e9352fd

We already delivered more things than most of coins out there

Thank you mxxxxxx for the update. I just have 2 questions just out of curiosity that I would like to ask if you don't mind. Can Zerotrust and Jumblr be run from the same client at some point in the future? and secondly any ETA (I still like ninja launches Smiley ) on superFibre and integration into instantdex (not sure if its the right name)?

Hey LondonMP

Still struggling with superFibre integration but it will be done for sure

Jumblr is open sourced and while it is upgraded in meantime and integrated it will run from any compatible client with the code

It will be available too in SuperNET and NXT clients

Hi London, yeah, 'pitty we missed it, I think we had enough ammo to get it done. I'll set an alarm for Sunday night! Killa said he would chip in too, so if we set our watches properly, we 've got a good chance I think. In the worst case, we can keep pushing until we reach 1 btc and get Fibre listed anyways...
Cheers!

Yep, things are slow because the dev team that brought all the great tech are busy with life. Myself and Mxxxxxx are still here and working on things in the background. Fibre faces the same problems that most crypto coins face, its hard to keep developers interested. We would start a campaign for donations but we have been there and done that, people do not want to contribute. We actually have a meeting this weekend to discuss the future of Fibre, the direction of the project, funding, attracting developers and other things. Fibre will soon be rolled out on the new BDN that will give us access to a wide array of wallets including but not limited to Chrome app, Android and IOS. Blitz is going to build its own developer community for the BDN and any apps developed for the BDN will be simple to implement for Fibre. If anyone has any ideas or wants to help out, either with man hours or donations PM me

Refreshing to read project leaders speaking the truth for a change, well done!!

Times are tough but I think BLITZ & BDN & SuperNET are in for the long haul, so if FIBRE has a part to play helping those three it'll do well in the long term.

Thank you mxxxxxx and killakem for the update. I would love to help out maybe not a technical level (as I have zero experience) but certainly with a donation. I actually DMed Killakem on slack about a donation address but I haven't received a reply yet. If you provide me with an address, I will send few hundred fibres when I get home.

Did the dev pull a satoshi and ditch this coin? The price is so low.

Bitcointalk is being abandoned by not a few coins, so is the rumor. To me it seems a little messy, and all over the place, but then again, guess slack or reddit could be the better place.

I guess not sure if it's time to close this forum completely, but maybe update only here? Put posts on blog and reddit for important issues and copy over here?
