A couple of (newb) Linux related questions...
Did someone install FibreOS using a standard Linux USB Image Writer? I tried but the stick doesn't boot  Undecided
Did I miss something?
Any plans for Linux wallets? (Deb & Ubuntu would be great)
Thanks for any help!
___
Buying Fibre with all the money I can comfortably save...

The ISO is just an image file, if your virtualization software can utilize .img files the ISO can just be renamed, it works find with KVM on ubuntu
We did not want to implement a live operating system that would destroy your wallet at shutdown, it is portable system
You can create too FibreOS usb stick on windows using these instructions https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=737771.msg9050120;topicseen#msg9050120
You can compile a wallet, files are available here https://github.com/fibre-team/fibre
I will talk with lead developer about ready to use Deb & Ubuntu wallets

Cheers

Excellent support as always mxxxxxx, thank you much!

Waow, great news, I'm chipping in more BTC before the market wakes up  Smiley

BTW, all my mining blocks appear to be rejected today (16 in a row and counting):
Code:
This block was not received by any other nodes and will probably not be accepted!

Is it because there are  too few active nodes at the present time?

Fibre: give me more...

The rejected block problem I had earlier today appears to be related to a downed network.
After re-establishing Internet connection, mining blocks started entering smoothly...
Sorry for this false call guys  Undecided

why is shinybars.com no longer accepting FIBRE?

We are still optimistic about the future of fibre. With that said, after having it on the site for quite some time we had zero purchases with fibre. The pricing scripts on the back end were hogging resources for no benefit. Additionally there is little to no liquidity in the fibre market and we suspect that there will be little spending of fibre given the recent decline.
