Is there some new roadmap for this?
anything happening or dead cat bouncing?
You would have to ask Empinel. He would have those answers. He is a little busy this week. I am not sure when he would be able to reply.

Hey! I'd love to help get this Fibre back on track. I'm a 17-year-old website designer (I'll be going to the University of Virginia next fall), and I could help make a website for the coin. I've made http://DojoAudio.com, Broadbayboards.com, and OxfordBedding.com, so I have the experience and skill necessary to make a nice, sleek website. It could really add some value to the coin's project and kickstart the momentum again!

Send me an email at marxtyler@gmail.com, I'd love to talk more.

Hi @Marxtyler, 'love dojoaudio.com, nice work  Smiley If you want to talk to the team, check out https://sprnt.slack.com/messages/fibre/
You may need an invite, let us know here if you can't get in.
Basically, Killakem is the lead dev and has a whole team behind him. Fibre joined Supernet, and at about the same time Killa and his team took over the Ocupy project and rebranded it as Blitzcoin. They now are investing most of their time & energy into launching the Blitz project, which is very promising and due to go public and full PR very soon. After the Blitz launch, the team will be able to dedicate some resources to Fibre, and I expect them to bring major changes based on the experience they have accumulated this year and on the exuberant creativity and innovation that's brewing in the Nxt sphere...

FibreX is an experimental version of Fibre, the X is meant to differentiate it from the original version

Okay - Second try...
Someone here who can tell me what is the current status of FIBRE?

Status is: original dev not found (Empinel has to find Killakem).
But he will come back - last time online is 2016-04-20.

I PMed him now, so he may get an e-mail...

Update: I've got an answer from killakem.

I'm still in touch with Empinel.
[...]
Feel secure in the fact that I will never abandon Fibre, I will always be here. Just the original developers and most of the team have now moved on for various reasons.

So, let's give killakem some space and trust him, we trusted him until now, nothing should change.

This coin has never been really pumped, These rare coins could become very valuable with a little work.
I'm stocking up.

I think 600k + only...

Low supply for a good coin can easily pumped.

Top wallet on bittrex less than 30k coins.

was checking out empinel repo and stumbled across this:

https://github.com/empinel/experimental/commit/27fc3b625f29c50db594393f617f721d6a4221d7

Could you please elaborate on what's going on there?

*Few coins will be delisted from poloniex on the 3rd of the 6th and I am thinking if Fibre doesn't step up, it will get delisted too in the next round alongside some other very low volume/very low interest coins.

and a good reason to do so...

the market on Polo is still ticking over, just.

Maybe the coin will attract more dev attention as/when SuperNET is fully operational

Here's hoping!

Any news from the development team? Or is this coin dead?

Killakem is now working on yet another project http://stratisplatform.com/the-team/

I guess Fibre community members even though we stayed loyal and never sold a single coin are not worth it anymore.

I guess we are not even worth a small paragraph to say Fuck you Fibre believers but thats crypto for you.

What i also find funny is the fact that chris mentioned working on Blitz and the viral exchange and not his first project as if it wasn't fibre that gave him a name and a following in the crypto scene

Good bye fibre community and I wish you the best of luck

I have been keeping my fibrecoin for nearly 2 years, we haven't heard from killakem (Chris Trew), krushang, mammix2 for nearly a year. We held our coins patiently waiting for that elusive update. Thinking that Killakem will probably turn his attention to Fibre when he is done with Blitzcoin and related projects.

I honestly don't give a shit about how you spend your time and I wish you the best of luck, but not all of the Fibre community members were pump and dumpers, not all had ill intentions so some of us I felt deserved a little explanation or at least someone could have come to the thread to say, Hey guys, Fuck you but we moved on a long time ago.

I remember you guys when you first showed up in bitcointalk, you tried to be the stand up guys, you tried to help clean up the scene. In hindsight, you are as scum as the people you were claiming to not be.

Best of luck to anyone that invests in this project, but remember guys it is not all about marketing and fancy roadmaps

If you want to learn more about their personalities and their broken promises check out this thread and its multiple failed roadmaps

I understand your frustration....I just let my wallet run and hope one day someone comes and rescues this boat. I guess I could jump off. I cant see how that would be better...When walking through poo keep your head up....
