A recurring trend in the Bitcoin scene is a lot of shady murders/suicides end up happening when there is Bitcoin to be had. It was the case in MT GOX it was the case in Silk Road so who's to say Satoshi was immune from this? He could very well have been murdered in order for someone to steal his coins or even take over. For example after satoshis "disappearance" many people in this very forum and the bitcoin community gained power so a lot of people could have had motive.
What are your thoughts on this?
The troll is strong in this one.

His "new development" is just the same thread again. I don't know why he wants everyone to keep reading his nonsense.

Why does it even matter? Who cares? So what if he is dead? So what if he is still alive? Who cares if it was created by a govt organization? Bitcoin has value and you spend it. end of story. How would it affect any of you or even the market if he actually was dead? Or it wasn't who everyone thought it was. Would you quit using it if you found out it was something other than what you thought?
A lot of people are very interested in the whereabouts of satoshi. Some people have spent weeks and months looking at his transactions and where the coins subsequently went. I personally think the chances of him being killed are less then the average citizen being killed as he is very smart and can avoid many dangerous types of situations that end up killing people.

If he did die, its much more likely that it was from natural causes. Plus you're looking for motives without a body, hmmm.
We don't know who Satoshi is, so we can't know if he was murdered. What a stupid thread. OP ignored, as he is obviously just trying to get more clicks for his signature ad. I would suggest the removal of these ads, because it encourages turds like him to post stupid shit like this.+1, i hope the community is smart enough to ignore all the troll threads. Except that as far as I can tell, OP doesn't have any signature ad. There's nothing clickable there. However, you're right that this thread is dumb. What's the "new evidence coming in"? I would personally love to be able to read actual evidence as to the whereabouts of satochi or the possibility that he was murdered/killed (although I don't think he was). As far as I can tell, more or less no one really has any actual evidence as to his status.

If he was the only one with the private key and he 'died' would that potentionally increase the value of BTC?

put your ego away your not a police officer, your not the sun, and karpeles tweets are not related to you. you FUD is soo thinly tied together no one cares. your just posting like 2-3 different topics, purely for your own ego trip, and not doing anything useful for the community. im starting to think that you are Dr sol adoni and one of his dozen sock puppets.

My guess is that Satoshi is the US government and that Bitcoin is the "one world currency." While I don't like the notions the NWO brings for the most part, a global currency sounds like a good idea to me as long as the law doesn't outright black ball every currency, save for Bitcoin.

I guess the only real question that is important to me is at what stage of Bitcoins develpment did Satoshi disappear and how did people all of a sudden know to pick up the 'pieces" he left behind. This topic is bound to have tons of fringe speculation because it is fascinating seeing where Bitcoin is today and could go in the future.

I'm sure you can google it easily enough if interested. Of course some will say the account was hacked, but Occam's Razor says Satoshi was alive and well at that point, and had enough good will to want to get the jerk media off Dorian's back.
