Until I am able to once again meet the commitment of keeping this section updated perfectly I have decided to provide code for other members to maintain. My internet is really bad as I'm looking after an unwell relative but I WILL BE BACK, QM.

--------------------------

Given the increasing frequency of 'multi-loan' defaults and the community feedback on a public ledger, I below list all the current loans that I have found in this sub-forum (disclaimer=some loans may not be listed due to privacy and recency of updates), to hopefully prevent this from happening again.

This ledger is currently experimental but if useful I'll happily keep it updated - Please give me feedback!

Usernames of borrowers are listed alphabetically for lenders' ease-of-use. Lenders please post in this thread (its in your interest borrowers are unable of taking out multiple loans as risk of default increases).

nice public ledger you should put a wallet address for donations, will be willing to give one, once I get loan repaid.

Thanks zolace , I have added a BTC donation address on request to the OP, but do not want anything for myself personally. Any donations to the address will be sent to charity. This is not for me, this is to not only stop the bullshit scammers, but to help legitimate borrowers and lenders operate easier.

QuarantinedMoon, this is a great idea but will require you to constantly check every thread in the lending section, and be on top of every single case. That's a lot of work. It'll inevitably fail because you can't indefinitely be this active on the forum.

But kuddos to you for doing this.

I can't say it definitely will or won't fail, but I'm capable of checking a sub-forum every 24, at the most 48 hours. The section is surprisingly inactive when you omit all the shit scam attempts (which sadly hide multiple loan requests quite effectively). If people post up their loans here that'd save me a whole load of effort too.. !

I think this can work well if OP has someone he trusts well enough to help.

Also, @OP, repaid my Aug. 17 loan to haploid ;-)

To be decided...

Thanks MoreBloodWine, appreciate the post. Upon haploid's confirmation will remove.

Edit: Everyone can help, as you just have with your post.

As its all in the public then it is possible for everyone to help, unless MBW meant let someone access my account to update the thread?

I dont think so. I think MBW means that everyone can dig up every post that you can't check. Right?

I don't have anything against you. Are you not worried that your name is listed in the ledger and it is listed possibly defaulted?
