I have 1 BTC to give out to the most interesting answer to that question ... I know it's not a lot, but if you have 0 right now, 1 BTC is better than nothing

"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

Spend it in little bits and pieces as a way of showing people how Bitcoin works/boring them to death.

I would let it go towards another purchase at bitmit.com or other similar bitcoin-accepting sites.  Wink

I approve of this!

It's win-win, really. They either learn about Bitcoin, or I get their shoes.

The smallest amount you can spend is like 1x10⁻⁸ right? (0.00000001BTC) So if i were you I'd gamble with it if your into gambling because some sites if i remember take as little as 0.0001BTC i think.

Gambling with small amounts like that sounds fun, but I'd probably save it for a bigger future purchase

Buy a pack of guitar strings. You can never have too many strings. Well if there were a music store that accepted bitcoins I would.

I would save it. Either save it with one of the banks here or just for that rainy day.

If you want to exchange bitcoins for strings, I can accommodate you ...

I usually pay $3.50 for D'Addario XL packs. I think it'd be hard to come close to that in BTC unless you bought in bulk. If it could be done for 1 BTC a pack I'd be in.

Bought this for our little son at Bitmit for approx. 0.7BTC and free shipping. It's a little solar powered locust, and our toddler really loves it.

Save it on its own secure wallet on a USB and wait for the day to buy groceries with BTCs and be the first ready to do so.

3.50 retail or do you buy in bulk? I can't seem to find them anywhere for that cheap, i haven't looked that hard though

Local retail and sometimes cheaper on ebay. They make up for it with the coated strings though.

I'd buy 4 tickets on BitLotto where the jackpot for next week's draw is at over 120 BTC atm & with 99% of all money bet going to the winner that is excellent returns! If I then won (1 in 120ish chance atm) I'd let you know how I'll spend the prize - hopefully by next week it'll be enough for a BTF Single  Grin
