At local level bitcoin can't take its place. People feel safer with Physical stuff than digital. At bigger transactions like million dollars, BTC can be a good alternative.

Paper money is really very primitive and requires a *lot* of resources to create and manage.
But bartering (exchanging goods and services without involving money) is still practiced in some locations and scenarios. Why do you think that BTC being "online" means that paper money will never disappear? Is it because you think that something could threaten the existence of the Internet and so it would be unsafe to rely solely upon money transacted online?
I am not so sure about this. But IMO, the benefit of bitcoin over credit cards is very big, while the benefit of bitcoin over paper money is quite small. And I don't think the benefit is big enough to get paper money replaced.

The governments won't be happy to see bitcoin replacing fiat money, as they can't control or manipulate bitcoin. And so, they will set up all kinds of restrictions to hinder the development of bitcoin.

I am not so sure about this. But IMO, the benefit of bitcoin over credit cards is very big, while the benefit of bitcoin over paper money is quite small. And I don't think the benefit is big enough to get paper money replaced. - Bartering is primitive, yet it's a wonderful system especially for small and proximal exchanges. It's ill-equipped for global commerce, though. - The benefits over credit cards are pretty obvious (e.g. Lower fees, no need to give sensitive personal info, etc.). - Paper money is *very*expensive. First, you have all the cost of production (e.g. Cultivating the materials which costs a buttload of money), then there's the production cost, the transportation cost (think of all those armored vehicles that routinely fill banks and ATMs, etc.), then there's the cost of both automated and manual security (e.g. Safes, security systems, armed guards and security personnel, etc.). Then you have coined money like pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, etc. that weigh a ton, and all of that weight requires even more oil and gasoline to transport. You're talking about tens of billions of dollars being spent annually just to preserve the standard of paper money.

Yes I think that bitcoin will replace FIAT all over the world, but it's code should be improved again and again.
Bitcoin can not replace fiat no matter how we try. Fiat is to a large degree already digital, much of the fiat are just numbers in a computer, which are in only a few servers controlled by only a handful of people. Currencies have been under heavy inflation in the past, for e.x. there are banknotes of 250 000 000 Zimbabwean dollars. The more the money is printing, the more close to that situation we will get. Consider this theoretical example: Average cost of bread year cost ($) 1930 0.09 1940 0.10 1950 0.12 1960 0.22 1970 0.25 1980 0.50 1990 0.70 2010 2.00 2020 4.00 2030 8.00 2040 16.00 2050 32.00 2060 64.00 2070 128.00 At this point, will people still use fiat? I don't think that's how inflation works lol

I believe that cryptocurrency (possibly not Bitcoin) will eventually take over as the major financial instrument. It could take decades, though.

It's like a relation of a virus for it's anti-virus...as long as there are people, there will be fiat, so bitcoin will also be here.

The payment of money has been replaced by many other methods of payment nowadays such as cards and Bitcoin. As more and more e-retailers receives the Bitpay, the popularity of bitcoin will be improved. As I know that most of the retailers who have received the Bitpay are mostly the industries of electrics, e-commerce and so on, besides, the future market is based on e-commerce. I think that the future of Bitcoin is coming.

Any currency that is not providing a percentage to the central banks has little or no future. Sort of the same way gold was seized and simply made illegal to possess. see wikipedia Executive_Order_6102
