I think bitcoin will stay relevant for many years to come, However I also think that we will see a new crypto coin surpass bitcoins market cap within 3 years. Im am unsure of the coin, but it is obvious we live in a world that sees many fads, fade in and out. Not to mention bitcoin is far from perfect, with other coins proving to provide a better system. What do you think? What kind of "marketing" campaign is it going to take to surpass bitcoin?

It makes sense that someday another "better" coin could come. Speaking for myself, I would not even consider using another system unless it....
1. Is open source. 2. Is a distributed, decentralized network. 3. Has no pre-mine option. 4. Has an unchangeable and limited supply. 5. Is accepted more widely than bitcoin. 6. Is based on stronger encryption than bitcoin.

Only time will tell. However I also think that we will see a new crypto coin surpass bitcoins market cap within 3 years.
Unlikely, but I suppose anything is possible. Im am unsure of the coin, but it is obvious we live in a world that sees many fads, fade in and out.
Bitcoin has some advantages that make it "stickier" than a typical fad. Not to mention bitcoin is far from perfect, with other coins proving to provide a better system.
I haven't seen any alts yet that provide any material improvement over bitcoin. Some offer something different, but I haven't seen anything that I'd consider to be "better". What do you think? What kind of "marketing" campaign is it going to take to surpass bitcoin?
I don't think it's going to happen.

A coin will only surpass bitcoin if it offers something new and revolutionary so it wont be any of the current coins. If one did come along maybe whatever it offered could be implemented into bitcoin as well.

this mean that there is a chance that bitcoin die, and that the price now can fall to 0 or something

The first coin that is actually better than Bitcoin in a substantial way and implements this strategy for initial coin distribution: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563925.0may have a chance of actually giving Bitcoin some competition. Peter may have singlehandedly killed off all past, current and future alts that do not use this method of initial coin distribution, including Ethereum. He is my new hero. This also has the potential of eliminating most of the incentive to make new alts for the pump and dump of it and reducing the entire alt space to serious contenders only. Than maybe Monero ?
Nope. Actually I can answer all posts like this just once: Than maybe <insert any current alt>?
Nope.

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security. Read all about it here: http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/ Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

If any coin was going to better Bitcoin it would have happened by now. Just look at all the alts and that's because they offer very little difference. A brand new coin would have to come out with something completely unique that Bitcoin couldn't really incorporate.

this mean that there is a chance that bitcoin die, and that the price now can fall to 0 or something I would guess that in 500 years there will be no bitcoin. But for all I know it could be the worlds standard currency. Than maybe Monero ?
I don't know what that is? It would have to become more accepted than bitcoin.

While a next gen crypto might pass Bitcoin in adoption, even total marketcap, I don't think we will ever see any other coin going to +$1000 each.
All the main contenders (NXT, Ripple, Etherium) have such a large number of total coins that it is unlikely any of them would even pass $10 each, let alone $1,000.
