I don't want POS. It's way behind in technology. I would go with other features for POW. I would add a feature such as merged mining, multi-algo mining or counterparty. Or just continue with the store type idea until it's finally done and price will go up.

I like the cheap price. It's going to allow some skilled but poor people the ability to get in on the coin.

looks like mostly everyone wants to fork to pos  Shocked

I agree, one or two guys don't compare to the large majority.

And if anyone really wants the security of PoW, then a hybrid can be done with only a small amount going to PoW, like 1 coin per block or something.

Hopefully this can be fully implement soon before the next imminent crypto boom in order to take full advantage of the new incoming demand by new investors who really do look at the inflation and max dilution.

Cheers!

Bro.....you did notice that is only for 7 days right?  Not gonna make but a few cents off of that, not really worth it unless you plan on using them for more hashpower.  I signed up to see what it was about but didn't even bother setting up the free hashes, waste of time in my opinion.

Every coin is trying to switch to POS or already has switched. Lately, none of the coins have much price increase from a POS switch. It also cuts off new people from getting in cheap. Trading stops and it gets removed from exchanges. I would go with a merged mining solution. Then users can mine XSX and also mine any scrypt coin with higher difficulty like PotCoin, DogeCoin or LiteCoin.

A POS switch could be made as a testnet incase one day it becomes obvious that the coin should switch. Like if an investor comes in with 1000 BTC and wants a POS switch.

So you're saying when Bitcoin runs out of its 21 million coins then it will automatically be worthless since no more coins to mine?  lol

Supply and demand.  Plenty of great coins like DarkCoin are in pure PoS mode and are doing great.  Sorry we don't have a time machine for those who missed PoW, I wish we did cause i'd go back to find out about Bitcoin before it hit $266.

As for price increases, cutting supply is only half the equation - increasing the demand is the other half and it will come with development and for sure once bitcoin takes off.

Let's be ready for the incoming demand surge with lower inflation and dilution.

I'm saying PoS is lacking behind PoW coins in open source technological innovations. I think merge mining + counter party would increas ethe price 300x. I'm not sure what openbazaar is but it may only work with PoW coins.

A PoS switch fine. I wouldn't mind it. I could then hold my coins for 5 years without them being dilluted. PoS technology will improve and can then be added into the coin.

I think a lot more research has do be done to find an actual way to create this future of buying a pizza with XSX.

Even if he isn't, its ok. If he has a good job or owns a successful business then he can hire someone to perform the code change. It's not like it's a very hard change. It seems like every coin is switching to PoS now.

May I ask what is going on with the certs that were supposed to be awarded to the initial IPO investors?  It has been quite some time!

Bump.......dev if this is not going happen with forming the company, perhaps it is time to refund the IPO investors?  Doesn't seem as though things are going well in getting this project off the ground, if this is the case I would like to get my BTC back to invest in another project.  I can wait longer, that is not the problem.....it is the feeling as though this is going nowhere.
