As of September 2011 60,000 clients connected in 24 hours. Taking into account userbase growth and online wallets, I would say bitcoin has 70,000 regular users.
There are 7 billion people in the world.
70,000 is 0.001% of 7 billion.
Now shut the fuck up.

People have been complaining about the early adopter unfairness since before I knew about bitcoin, but I still consider myself an early adopter. If bitcoin becomes as big as many of us think it can, you will do quite well for yourself if you own a few hundred coins, which right now can be acquired for less than the price of a decent flatscreen TV. If you get in now, plenty of people will be jealous of you 5 years from now if all goes well. No complaints from me.

If you buy now you can be an "earlier" adopter than lots of people who bought bitcoins between mid-May and around September 2011.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.
