I would buy number 99 and number 100.
99 because gretzky was the best ever (other than orr) and 100 because it will be the last one.
Unfortunately #4 isn't available  Grin
ok, maybe a real canadian there then....
best ever.   knees and boston where bad.   look at klusak another canunk that went down because knee surgery was not perfected soon enough.    did not get a confirm or send to address.  I have 99 and 100 correct?   would take 88 for luck too.

Just to clarify, once this run is complete, you are going mass produce the same print and get them posted in busy locations? Won't the value hit zero if they are found on every street corner?

If i'm not wrong, the mass production is gonna be digital prints of the same design so it won't affect the value of this original run which are silkscreen printed.

uvdmnte is correct -- the mass run will be digital copies on smaller (8.5x11 / 11x17 or A4/A3), thinner paper.

The original run is silkscreen printed by hand on thick 18x24" art paper.

If anything, seeing digital copies on every street corner will make your print even more valuable Smiley

Neither of those two. Seriously, Mark Karpeles?  Huh

Each print will be numbered and signed. PLEASE do not laminate artwork. Get it framed if you're worried about preservation Smiley

You'd have to ask your local laminating shop. Again, please do not laminate your poster, it will ruin it and you'll have flushed $35 down the drain. Smiley

Test prints are looking great, and full production is starting! Planning to get at least three colors down today, with the rest to follow on Friday.

My laptop drank a cup of coffee, which has set me back a few hours (thankfully, only the battery fell victim). To keep you sated in the meantime, some pictures!

Once the image is separated into its constituent colors, each layer is printed on a clear film. Here's the sky:

This is then placed on a light table, with the screen placed on top. A vacuum bag and a piece of foam is used to ensure good contact between the film and the screen.

The coating of light-sensitive emulsion on the screens hardens under exposure to light, but the areas blocked by the inked film can be washed away with water.

Edges of the screen are masked off with tape, and the screen is locked into place on the vacuum table. This layer is being done with a split fountain; three different colors of ink blend together on the screen to create a gradient.

Ink transfers through the screen to the paper beneath.

The ink mixes continuously, producing a unique pattern of swirls that makes no two posters alike.

A wet print.

Next color: green!
