No gradients in the green layer, just a solid fill of a single color.

Next up: yellow!

Tried a few different yellows before finding one I liked. A test print -- you can start to get a feel for the content now:

Close-ups:

Once the yellow is printed, we'll move onto probably a scarlet red, followed by a navy blue. We're a bit behind schedule, so I'm going to extend the early-bird pricing until you've all seen pictures of the completed posters.

In my defense it's 4am and I have been assembling Ikea furniture (the devil) since 10PM and have at least another 3 hours to go which will put me at just about 25 hours straight AND I'm supposed to be 2hrs away at 12PM today for a poker tourney.  Not looking good for Parx today.

Tried to find this because it would be a bad error, but solutions is spelled correctly in the photos?

Enviro-friendly water-based inks from a company called Matsui. You can literally pour them right down the drain (although this would be wasteful; we save every drop). Printing is still an inky, messy business Smiley

Mild panic upon first reading this, but I don't see it either Smiley

Here's the screen for the red layer. Don't dwell too long, more interesting photos below:

Red ink going down.

Detail shots:

The print thus far:

Next color is navy blue, which will hopefully get finished tonight. Then the prints are trimmed, sorted, and numbered!

We mix our inks from scratch, using bases and pigments. Here, we're going for a nice midnight blue: matte base with reflex blue, process blue, and black pigments.

It takes a bit of stirring before the base accepts the pigment. Final color, wet and dry, is in the bottom left photo:

The finished print, awaiting trimming and numbering:

Detail shots:

At this point, the pre-order pricing is officially over, thanks again to everyone who purchased! The remaining eight posters will be offered at a cost of $45 plus shipping.

Stay tuned for pictures of cutting, numbering, packaging for shipment, and more!

What was the total time commitment on the posters?

About 19 hours of work so far, five of which were spent designing the poster, separating the colors, printing films, etc.

These look very nice - its not my style, but I could see them being someplace like a class-room or a computer lab or maybe a library.  Definitely one for a bitcoin club for sure.

A razor is used to score the side of the stack of papers. These small cuts act as guidelines for the cutter.

Posters this large must be cut one at a time.

Cut, numbered, and signed.

Just waiting on shipping supplies (cardboard padding), expecting to start mailouts Wednesday or Thursday!

Only eight posters left!
