Below is a basic roadmap of current projects and rough estimates on timelines

Website Redesign - October 1st

There is already a new website design that’s ready to go. The hosting environment is being prepared and the site migration will take place soon. Once the site is Live we’ll ask the community to review and provide insight. There are no major changes beyond the design. The content and navigation is essentially the same. The goal was to get something more professional and presentable in place, and continue to develop and improve it from there.

Custom ACOIN block explorer - Mid October

The old explorer (https://www.blockexperts.com/acoin) is no longer running. We do have (http://www.zpool.ca/explorer/ACOIN) but it’s not ideal. Renewing the Block Experts explorer costs 0.1BTC which is roughly $427 at the time of writing. As everyone is well aware, ACOIN does not have a fund set aside for this. Thus, @milkandpie4u will be developing a custom explorer for ACOIN.

Launch need ANN thread - Mid November

As promised there will be a new ANN thread created as we do not have full control over the current one. This is much needed as much of the important information is no longer relevant or operational. This isn’t something that’s going to be rushed just to have it done. We would like to take time to put together all the information to correctly and professionally in a manner that’s also graphically appealing to the visitors of the thread.

Additional Comments:

None of these dates are set in stone. It’s entirely possible these are achieved well before the projected dates. We’ve chosen dates at the further end of the spectrum to ensure the likelihood of following through with promises. However, there’s always the possibility of needing more time if issues arise or circumstances change.

There was an interesting insight from a topic in 2014 regarding rare/low supply coins, and the perspective of "crypto-commodity".

"There is a small niche in the market that has not been exploited.As more money gets poured into this digital game, there will be those sanctuaries for high priced coins, few people can afford to buy-in and that's what makes them special."

Yes, it's 60 second block time. There is no end of PoW. Currently the block reward is 0.01 ACOIN/Block which will stay this way.

No offense SteveOnz, but you'll will be sorry you soled.. Within a few months when everything is ready/optimized, or even later who cares as long it's quality what Acoin provides..  It will be so highly demand due it's low supply, low inflation, no mining markets drops due it's hash rate, no premine, no fees to dev. ....
But I understand you are a man of marketing and want to follow the latest hype trends. Promising fortune within a week, overwhelming ICO's by the minute, Atomic swaps....
Remember 86.3% off their income depends on newbies.. but those newbies will eventually get smarter after they lost all of their money within 24h. Greed and short time richness is crypto's enemy number one, and there are only a few coin's out there with a dev. and a team that luckily don't seduce them selves with such practices.
My English may be not so good, as this is not my native language but if you look behind the spelling and grammar errors you will understand what I'm saying..

It will be so highly demand as for example Unobtanium due it's low supply, low inflation, no mining markets drops due it's hash rate, no premine, no fees to dev. ....

UNO's market cap is about 24mil, if ACOIN had that market cap it would be about 20$ per unit, i think it's a realistic scenario, and would be quite a good settlement  

True Crypto with best value stands in older altcoins with good code, good hashrate support and (obviously) their own blockchain, not some ICO eth tokens.

I haven't seen any speculation around, but there are many favorable aspects, the low supply (total 1.6mil units) and heavy mining support (around 10TH/s average), but it needs more 24h vol and marketing.

1$ won't be hard to achieve it might take a a little time, but things seem to be going well for now
