There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Fwiw, I bought a good portion of the XTC from 1.2k to 2.7k satoshis.  I think there might be some serious implied value in this project, it's definitely no shitcoin.  If the devs pull of what they hope to this will get real interesting and exciting.  Anyway, I just wanted to put people's minds at ease, because I don't think (but I'm not certain) that there is a bot buying it up, it was likely just me.

Through my network of contacts I also have strong connections to exchanges like Bittrex and Poloniex.  I plan to introduce them to XTC and see what they have to say.

I agree, there's not too much buy support right now and yeah there's bots manipulating, but why not just let them do their thing? How can you get burned if you hold your coins and let manipulators do their thing these next couple days? As long as you (and me and the rest of sober investors) hold your coins, what's the problem exactly? I'm actually hoping for a big drop, fill my buys! Grin

If you feel like the price is unnaturally high, this is a perfect opportunity to exit slowly. For me, a coin with a genuinely dedicated dev developing something with real world application and third party companies that can prove this thing is more than just talk is a reason to stay invested for a long long time.

And hey whale, remove those walls! Those 1.3mil and 1.5mil bags are much more impressive at 1$ a coin than right now  Cheesy

why is the bot bad you ask? ill tell you exactly what has happened here.

1. bter has brought most of the ICO with BTC that did not exist
2. bter own 95% of XTC tokens
3. bter buy up the walls manipulating the price.
4. price is unnaturally high with no buy support, but no one is dumping because remember bter hold 95% of tokens.
5. you small guys buy in at the inflated prices, only to get hurt when you turn that 10btc into 0.1btc.

bter is known for this, take a look at QORA. same thing, bter ICO with a token as the wallet was not ready(blockchain 2.0 tech) it got pumped out, now its dead. i do not want tilecoin to be tarnished.

read up the logs on bitbay. bter devs were involved and brought 90% of ICO, its a known fact. theres only one reason why someone runs a bot, to dump hard and profit.

we need to get tilecoin off bter, and onto many more exchanges.

it seems Bittrex do not have XCP coin ?

poloniex is a nice place to add Tilecoin.

people will realize the value of Tilecoin later.

Cryptotronix, TilePay want to let devices sell their own data

Cryptotronix, the Coloradan designer of open-source cryptography hardware and software, earlier this month announced a partnership with forthcoming cryptocurrency app TilePay that will bring automated, secure micropayments to the Internet of Things.

The company’s designs are already used for products like SparkFun’s CryptoCape, a hardware security add-on for the BeagleBone development board. The new design is a similar add-on for another tiny computer, the Pinoccio, which has Wifi and 802.15.4 mesh networking capabilities baked in.

The CryptoBackPack, still in prototype stage, adds an Atmel crypto-authentication chip to any device built with Pinoccio. The chip creates a unique cryptographic identifier that can be used to verify that the data really did come from where it says it did. That’s where TilePay comes in.

crypto

TilePay works a lot like Bitcoin (on which it’s based) and other cryptocurrencies: It’s a way to exchange money or data securely, through a decentralized system. Embedding cryptographic tools in IoT devices makes it possible for those devices to participate in the TilePay marketplace, by offering up access to their data on a pay-as-you-go basis.

For example, let’s say I have an outdoor environmental sensor measuring the temperature on my lawn, near the sidewalk. My next-door neighbor is building an automated lemonade stand, and she wants to maximize her profits by adjusting prices as the temperature goes up or down throughout the day. She programs her smart lemonade dispenser to buy an inexpensive temperature reading from my thermometer every 30 minutes, and automatically update the cost of lemonade accordingly.

The beauty of micropayments is that you only pay for what you need, instead of being locked into a subscription or forced to deal with advertising. My neighbor can do just fine with occasional readings; a meteorologist might pay for temperature data every minute, or every few seconds. And because each transaction is verified cryptographically, the buyer always knows that the data really did come from my sensor.

Micropayments are just one way that blockchains -- the cryptographic technology behind TilePay and Bitcoin -- can be used by connected devices. To learn more, see our article Blockchains and the Internet of Things.

that's the future of Crypto Currency.

Thingful aims to be the `Google’ of IoT

The Internet of Things holds out huge potential for interconnecting `things’, but first of all you need something like Umbrellium’s Thingful to find out where they are and what they do   Cheesy

Community Question:
How many Tilecoinx should we burn for each Asset (Token)?

how about make it 30 XTC

is it possible to adjust the Burning quantity if XTC value increase in the future?

Is decentralized Exchange also come soon?

Eric Jennings will attend Orielly Conference on Jan. 27th.  He is going to talk about Blockchain and IoT.
