November 7, 2014 - Development Update

1.) For those who are not aware, there is a new platform that will integrate IoT as well. They are called BitBay and they are licensing some software.
There is a lot of room for more crypto-tokens within the IoT realm. The most important development would be to create a consortium to build standards for POW/POS etc...

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

Very well expressed. IOT is going to attract alot of attention and - logically - new coins in the next months. I am seeing a number of Tilecoin holders fudding over in the BitBay thread, this does nothing but hurt the profile of Tilecoin, exactly as the SDC people dragged their coin down into the mud by trolling other coins.

Interesting idea about the shared standards - would be great if Tile took the lead on this.

do not pretend to be a innocent victim pls.

I know exactly who is behind the bitbay. Chinese Scam Master planned and implemented the whole scheme.

ppl behind Bitbay has no guts to deny the truth.

As I said in the BitBay thread, this is a great idea, very much worth the support of the community.

However, having an ICO is very unfortunate. Why not first deliver instead of collecting the money?

some starting funds are acceptable. let alone the amount raised by XTC is only 540btc. right now XTC team only get 180 btc. I do believe dev pay some bills from this own pocket, if we are serious about a project with huge potential. with such terms. investors are on safe side at all. only after delivery of said wallet and Dapp, dev will get the funding. from my understanding, this is certainly deliver first and take second.

what do you think?

These are absolutely valid points, and I don't question the integrity of the team, I am sure they are hard working and honest professionals, but because  the so many scams in the altcoin market up to date, I believe this project would be lot more successful if the development precede the money collection - in long term they would profit a lot more. Additionally, the so many ICO scam destroyed our market and I think this project shouldn't have to add an other ICO to the existing ones.

Anyway, I am very interested in this coin and looking at it very-very closely.

 Smiley Tilecoin (XTC)
TileCoin’s CEO (using the alias ASIC-8tile) contacted us in regards to a trust verification. Upon meeting in the Coins Source chat, we promptly moved to Skype chat and had a long conversation about the direction and who’s behind Tile. Due to the unique nature of the coin, the founder of the coin is outsourcing the code infrastructure for the decentralized application (not the coin itself) to an external company. The external developer is not connected directly with TileCoin, but is merely employed by them. ASIC-8tile did not wish to disclose which company is working for them at this time, but Coins Source is aware of the company.

The founder was quick to respond to our difficult questions and our skepticism of the funded external company. There are currently 3 major workers for TileCoin: a lead developer, the CEO/Founder of TileCoin (who we interviewed) and an accountant for finances. Aside from that, there are an extra 5 people pertaining to the integrity and development of the decentralized application (Dapp).

We spoke for about an hour and all information was submitted to us upon request. We’ve verified the developer’s identity and will continue to monitor the direction of TileCoin, as we have close contacts with them. At this point, TileCoin will receive a 6/7 Trust Score. The final trust point will be awarded upon the coin’s 1 month anniversary of being listed on an exchange.

November 7, 2014 - Development Update

There is a lot of room for more crypto-tokens within the IoT realm. The most important development would be to create a consortium to build standards for POW/POS etc...

2.) The Enclosure is in the print queue. The 3D printer company is so busy that it might take until Monday, November 10th to have an enclosure developed with colour.

3.) Still Looking for C developer for bit-c (C spv wallet) instead of picocoin for firmware

4.) Website/Marketing (SWOT) and banners will be available this week.

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile
