I'm just curious how everyone's doing with mining. I'm still a bit new, but I think I'm holding out okay!

How about you guys?
Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get its fee.

Lets see. I was given a PC for gaming and added another graphics card into it for mining. So I've spent about $230. I don't pay for the electricity the machine uses so that helps a lot. I believe I have made about 50 BTC.

Vested into bitcoin itself: $785
+ old 6870 and new 7970.  These were used for gaming. 6870 has turned into full time mining however.

I get 1.7Gh/s from that setup, + 0.6 Gh/s from running 7970 while I'm not gaming.

I've made 80 BTC so far.

30 of that was sold when BTC were at $7, 15 at $6 and the rest  between $5-$5.50

I've made about $500 return so far. (dorm-tricity is free* too)

I don't consider the 7970 as part of the investment, because even if I wasn't mining, I'd have it anyway.

Also, I've been mining since November

If I've helped: 1CmguJhwW4sbtSMFsyaafikJ8jhYS61quz

Sold: 5850 to lepenguin. Quick, easy and trustworthy.

Counting "invested" as stuff I wouldn't otherwise have bought + additional power costs.

$800/$1200/~800/Late May 2011
