dyslexia strikes again.  Embarrassed
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

@feddo Im have fun.

white_[.x.]_rabbit, are you Ty13rDerden?

The Narrator, also known as Tyler Durden, is a fictional character appearing as both the central protagonist and antagonist of the 1996 Chuck Palahniuk novel Fight Club, its 1999 film adaptation of the same name, and the comic book Fight Club 2. The character has dissociative identity disorder, and is depicted as an unnamed everyman known as the Narrator during the day, while he becomes the chaotic and charismatic Tyler Durden at night during periods of insomnia.

At two points in the novel, the Narrator claims he wants to "wipe [his] ass with the Mona Lisa"; a mechanic who joins fight club repeats this to him in one scene. This motif shows his desire for chaos, later explicitly expressed in his urge to "destroy something beautiful". Additionally, he mentions at one point, "Nothing is static. Even the Mona Lisa is falling apart."

Try this script, it will give you the right one:

In case anyone wanted to see how to solve it, I have written a python script using the solution posted here that decodes the flames.

https://github.com/ynohtna92/1FLAMEN6

You can test it here by copying and pasting the code into the online shell https://www.python.org/shell/

Finally, this puzzle has been solved. It took a lot of years and only after the recent spike in 2017 the interest in the puzzle spiked, which led to the sophisticated solution. One must be pretty sure about the approach to try the suggested solution path again and again. One of the most beautiful and legendary Bitcoin puzzles created.

I wonder, if there are any other similar mysteries to be solved? Anyone?

Now's a good time to pitch https://www.reddit.com/r/bitcoinpuzzles

The subreddit has been pretty inactive but there's work happening against http://theterminal.sh which is claimed to have 1BTC hidden.

Done thx.
I though that those 3 words are a part of passphrase (well .. it isnt). Its just part of a message after which the private key "5xxxx.." follows. Thanks.
(so all web news server get this wrong .. lol).

Not sure if this is on topic or not, but can anyone decipher this... this is just a small extract of the start of the 'code'... and/or work out what it is/does... I think it should be either some sort of computer code... or maybe some sort of music in 'quintave'

I was looking for that 00 in the picture and I found it in the hole in the key (not a keyhole in the lock, but a hole in the key), it looks kind of as double O or double 0. But maybe it is like catching at straws

i just found this thread
so this still not getting solved yet and still continue?

I have tried using brainwallet to sign messages but I also get flawed, so maybe the problem is not with the opposing party and it is on the LTC site.
Most likely a Counterparty problem, try pressing the alert key several times without changing the message, each time it is a different signature. Finally successfully complete the process but use some BTC

This does not match the time and cost in obtaining the required tools. The couple needed is intelligence and spend your time elsewhere, if that person will get you more. You are not so smart that you are willing to send more time than it is worth and buy some older computer or software, give up and you will find not only with your eyes but your inaccuracy. Cool

Yeah I've tried all those the actual programs listed need decoding before they will run. Invalid characters etc.
Interesting that there's also a book about chess and the circles of hell training. The more I look at the moves in chess the closer a key looks likely to be generated from certain moves.

Currently evaluated the look, confirmed hashes, created keys out of it, place it with an hex edit plan... Nothing so far.

more on topic, i am curious why everyone talks about running XOR and modulus operations on the bitstreams?  maybe i need to read through everything again, but just looking at the painting all i see (and it stands out very prominently) is an ampersand, which would indicate to me an AND operation.  also it seems perhaps more than a coincidence that there are 3 leaves attached to the ampersand, pointing to the knight, the queen, and the phoenix.  3 bitstreams to AND together perhaps?  also there are letters/numbers in the phoenix's neck, has anyone discussed them or their possible use?

Since this one was solved a while ago but I couldn't find a clear explanation in this thread I would like to sum up the solution to the final FLAMEN6 puzzle:

First of all a masterkey could be assembled when looking at the ribbons placed around the key in the bottom right corner. Short ribbons represent a 0, long ribbons represent a 1. Reading from left to right this gives the masterkey with a value of 011010

Next Step: The flames in the drawing consist of 4-bit chunks assembled like this:

Code:
Length  : a short one represents a 0,  or long one represents a 1
Border  : yellow  represents a 0, red represents a 1
Width   : narrow represents a 0, wide represents a 1
Interior: purple represents a 0, green represents a 1

The 4 bit chunks can then be assembled by looking at the flames, reading them clockwise and starting in the top left corner. Like this:

Code:
Start at top inner row from left to right
Continue at the right inner column from top to bottom
Continue at the bottom inner row from right to left
Continue at the left inner column from  bottom to top
Continue at the left outer column from top to bottom
Continue at the bottom outer row from left to right
Continue at the right outer column from bottom to top
and finally: continue at the top outer row from right to left

Next step is to concatenate all these chunks together leading to this big pile of zeroes and ones:

Code:
00101011100101011010111000011100100100011110001101000101100001101110111000011011110100111110111000000001100010101011101000001000110010001111111001101001110101001111101100011011110011111110111000010000100100111101000101010001111011101111001100100010100101001100111000111001100111101010110101011101111011011100110100101111100111101100110000000001110111101111010100011111100100011110111000001011110000011111100000011101110100101111010000000000111001001010100000001110110111101110101100010001111101101010001000100010111010111100111101010000111100101110110100100010100111101111010100001101111001111010101101010001

Then apply the masterkey from the second step by using the key as an XOR operand on the above assembled message on chunks as big as the masterkey (6 bits) and once again concatenate all the six bit chunks together to get the final message:
Code:
01000010001100110011010001110101001101110111100100101100001000000111010001110010011101010111010001101000001011000010000001100001011011100110010000000000011100100110000101110010011010010111010001111001001101010100101100111000010010000110100101001011001100100101010001010000001110000011011100110100010010110101011101000110001110000101011001101000011110000110111101110110001101110111010001100010011001110110001001110100011101000110111001101001010000100011001001100111011110000111000101111000010100000011100001001011010011010101010100111001010101000111011101001011001110000110111101100100010000010011000100111000

As a final step decode the binary from the message to text:

Code:
B34u7y, truth, andrarity5K8HiK2TP874KWF8Vhxov7tbgbttniB2gxqxP8KMU9TwK8odA18

5K8HiK2TP874KWF8Vhxov7tbgbttniB2gxqxP8KMU9TwK8odA18 in the final message is a Wallet Import Format of the private key for the 1FLAMEN address:
Code:

No. I won't do this one. It leads to nowhere. The "x" already tells me I would be marking a new block if it is placed in a parenthesis. the link to the genesis block is in the first set of parenthesis.  So I'm assuming placing "x" in a parenthesis is marking another block. By my little knowledge, I think its just someone messing with the entire public. I'd be amazed if something can come out of this. I will keep looking to see where this ends.
