Mystery Miner has ~1.35TH/s, I believe.
Its a problem, because they prevent their blocks from including tx, so about 15% of blocks have no tx, slowing down transactions.
Mystery Miner's ip is spanish.
Theorys include a botnet, and the government forcing its citizens to pay tax in mining power.

Impressive hash rate. Did you get in early and make your investment costs back or are you still paying it back?

amazingrando is at around 82-85 GH/s if pool stats are to be believed (https://www.MaxBTC.com).  That's a pretty big number!

The Alpha Betas. At least when it comes to nerds.

For Bitcoin to be a true global currency the value of BTC needs always to rise.
If BTC became the global currency & money supply = 100 Trillion then ⊅1.00 BTC = $4,761,904.76.

It doesn't slow down the transactions, but the confirmations.

Yeah that's what I meant! It slows down the time for your tx to confirm.

I dont believe in the mystery miner.
What do you mean? you don't believe its a mystery who the blocks mined sans transactions are being mined by? or you don't believe those blocks are being mined at all?

WTF?

1 GH/s @ current difficulty & price produces about $3.50 per day.  Thats about $12K since May 31st.

For most of the prior year the price/difficulty ratio was much higher than it is right now.

So how exactly did you make only $4K?  75% downtime?  $0.70 per kWh electricity?  Mine only at Deepbit w/ 10% fee (and used miner which doesn't support LP racking up another 10%+ in stales)?

So how exactly did you make only $4K?

I forgot some stuff.  Also I didn't have 12 GHash/sec until last month.   For the whole very profitable month of June I only had 1 GHash/sec.

Here is my cash flow summary for May, 31 till today.  The electricity is  $0.155 / kWh (Massachusetts).

Stuff bought                              -$11,671
bitcoins sold                                   8.821
electricity bought                          -5,205
bitcoins not sold (hoarded)              2,008
bitcoins scammed (FooDSt4mp)        -280
bitcoins lost (disk failure)                   -21
bitcoins lost (mybitcoin)                      26

balance                                      -$6,321

So at today's exchange rate I will finish paying for my computers in about 5 months.

It's not as bad as I thought.
