Better anonymity, almost no fees, faster transactions, peer to peer transactions so no 3rd party etc etc...find the white paper. |

I think it introduced a lot of people into markets. They started following the Bitcoin price, maybe did a few trades gained/lost some money and started to familiarize themselves with the respective terms, TA, patterns, etc.

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

Bitcoin transaction is so much better than bank wire or bank transfer, in the sense of speed and cost. Also, the decentralization property makes it that no one can stop the bitcoin tx as well. |
