I suggest you to go read white paper. All changed a bit, but basically is still the same.

Better anonymity, almost no fees, faster transactions, peer to peer transactions so no 3rd party etc etc...find the white paper.

Its a safe haven for big players who make a lot of money, since they can buy all the btc and cash it out when they please.

and why 6, not 4 or 10? Because of the 6 confirmations people say we need to "confirm" a transaction?

Or, you can sell bitcoin to another person for paypal on localbitcoins and currency exchange here, but you need to be careful with scammers.

I think it introduced a lot of people into markets. They started following the Bitcoin price, maybe did a few trades gained/lost some money and started to familiarize themselves with the respective terms, TA, patterns, etc.

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

Bitcoin transaction is so much better than bank wire or bank transfer, in the sense of speed and cost.
Also, the decentralization property makes it that no one can stop the bitcoin tx as well.
