I got a chance to have a chat with the game dev. At this point we are going to be included in Monitor and he said he'll see where it goes from there. I offered him our help if he needs it and told him if we make it in the game we have a bounty set aside for him so I guess time will tell. I'm optimistic though after our chat.

I offered him our help if he needs it and told him if we make it in the game we have a bounty set aside for him so I guess time will tell. I'm optimistic though after our chat. Wow! Actually surprised you got through to him. Thanks for the effort, although this still isn't promising as a plethora of coins are in the Monitor. Not holding my breath but at least you made contact. Thank you. Here's the Monitor coins, from http://www.1billionhex.net/monitor-a-brief-overview/There are four basic types of coin used in The Crypto Void and Monitor:
-- Private coins: Many aspects of the game engine will be controlled by a series of secured and private coin networks and blockchains. These will not be generally used in The Crypto Void in any kind of visible way. They will not be made available for public trade outside of Monitor and TCV. Their purpose is to distribute data between game and Monitor clients in a reliable way. They will not be exchangeable for other coins. -- In-game only coins: Some coins will be launched specifically for use in Monitor and TCV. These will act exactly like normal (public) coins and the vast majority of them may be traded in-game. They will also be exchangeable for other coins (both in-game and public) from within the game itself as part of the trading game modules. They will not be available on public exchanges or pools. -- Public coins: Just like any other coin but included in the game. -- Non-game coins: To make the system more useful to users, a range of public coins will be available in Monitor which are not a part of The Crypto Void. Only coins that comply with a list of specific requirements will be added to Monitor (more details of that will be given a separate page on this site).

Howdy all, how are the seed nodes doing, trying to sync but stuck on block 62801.
Edit: using the 2 nodes listed in the OP
Edit2: Nevermind, just slow blocks

I must say CGA v2 is rock solid stable. Good job devs. No forks or new versions needed. They even got us a multipool, but what happened to the community? It's a ghost town in here.

I would like to propose that we move CGA to DGC (Digitalcoin) code. It is based on Bitcoin core and supports 3 algos.
Think about it.

Hi guys, we've not been using CGA for a while, so I downloaded CGA2 replaced the wallet.dat file and let it sync for the past week. It has processed 80965 blocks but seems to be stuck. Our CGA are showing up in the unconfirmed section and the balance is showing 0.00. Am I doing something wrong here or will it eventually sync and (re)confirm the coin we have mined?
Any advice would be much appreciated!

Did you just put a v1 wallet.dat in a v2 wallet? -- This would not work.
You have to swap your coins.

That's exactly what I did Halofire. I gotta read back through the thread to find how to swap the coins over. Any quick links? Thanks!

OK so I've gone back thru the log... seems like there are 2 issues; 1. I have CGA1 and 2 (fully sync'd) up and running but v1 is showing 'No block source available'. I tried adding the .conf file with... connect=192.99.37.224 connect=107.170.166.51 ... as DIEMcoin suggested back on Oct 1st. But no block source available... any suggestions, or does anyone have an active node for v1 out there? 2. The swap is there any place to make the swap now that http://www.crypto2.net/cga/coinswap.php is closed? Thx guys!

I would PM the OP account or DIEMcoin or s4w3d0ff about getting swapped.
Only the person with the v2 premine can swap you out now, the swap website has been shut off for a long while now.

New V2 Chain Cryptographic Anomaly pool is open! -Reasonable 0.5% mining fee -Node.js stratum poolserver with better block notifier -Easy-to-use, make an account and add your workers At the moment of writing this the network hashrate is around 30MH. Join the fun! Bawaler's Mining PoolsFound lots of blocks already! Could be added to the official pools list @ OP

Hello to everyone Nice to see old coins rises after such a long coma, I wonder what will happen to them next. For the coins most important thing is always community. This coin got something unique and is part of history of crypto world. ... there is short CGAnomaly video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SgzFLRumpUhope you like it.

Less is more when you mine this coin, The harder you hit it with asic's, the less you get. A single GPU will get you more coins than a 100 mh asic

Come join us at the https://prohashing.com scrypt mining pool. We are a coin-switching pool that offers mining and payouts in CryptographicAnomaly as well as over 150 other coins. We are responsible for about 60% of the CryptographicAnomaly network's blocks, and we trade at all exchanges on which CryptographicAnomaly is offered. Our unique coin balancing algorithm ensure that we don't overload any coin with too much hashrate so that we don't send the difficulty skyrocketing. We also have a CGA block explorer at https://prohashing.com/explorer/CryptographicAnomaly. Come check us out!
