so this is the person who hacked satoshis account ? damn !
https://twitter.com/LulzClerk
I hate anyone who uses the word "Lulz" and tries to make public hacks. Can't we just get rid of these kids somehow? (I assume they're not an adult as they would probably need to work  on a tuesday.)

Another twist - It's apparently the same hacker who got into Roger Ver's facebook a while back -

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2fux6p/wheres_roger_ver_when_you_need_him/ckdl8aw

didn't that kid apologize or get scared after roger offered the bounty? his "lulz" shit pretty much gives away that he's a pretty young kid too. maybe mid 20's at the latest.

Yes, i think so, but he was never arrested or convicted. That is what Roger's 37 BTC bounty is for, regardless of his age etc...

oh snap - We may have a winner folks, check it -

What would happen if the email address was DDoS'd?

Perhaps, when you have a bit of free time (now?) you can check what is a DDoS.

HAHAHAHAHAH his email was ddosed son!!! they used the NTP monlist vulnerability  to crack his password yo!

Yo Yo. Even it that is the case, it is still not a denial of service. It is distributed, perhaps, but still not a denial of service.

The email said:
Quote from: satoshin@gmx.com
Michael, send me some coins before I hitman you.

Not exactly Satoshi's normal style. Wink

@theymos does an email get expired on gmx.com ?

I don't know.

Have u received previous mails from him ? Did he use to sign those ?

I did receive emails from him in 2010. He didn't sign them.

Another development in the Satoshi Assassination case.

Apparently it's the same guy who tried to blackmail Roger Ver for 37 odd Bitcoin:
http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2fux6p/wheres_roger_ver_when_you_need_him/ckdl8aw

edit: or this guy is involved/sticking his oar in.

If there's one guy who knows about doxxing, it's Roger Ver.

You give me that data, or I release this data.

Proof that bits are worth more than gold.

Satoshi was 100% right about the lengths that people would go to in order to get Bitcoin data allocations.

the alleged hacker is a high school kid.

The problem with black hat people is they are usually misguided script kiddies who lack discipline.

Lastly, they are usually loudmouths who boast about committing crimes

Am I missing something here?  What evidence is there that this person is the actual hacker?  Can somebody point it out?

is that him? it says he's from missouri, which is the same state that was used in the "proof" photo for the order that satoshi allegedly made. the doxed state also fits.

Follow the reddit posts in the posts in the prior two pages - its pretty much all falling into place - same skype usernames as the kid who tried to hack roger etc..

on the reddit links, hit Context to see the full thread(s).  sorry can't link right now, but i am 99% sure he's busted hard here, and is going to become famous for all the wrong reasons by tomorrow am... Can't even believe these dumbass skids leaving leaving moronic crap and trails everywhere...

This kid doesn't even deserve to be called a black-hat hacker IMO, he's just another moronic/narcissistic skid!!

Honestly if you were Satoshi would you want this guy (kid) brought up on charges on any type?

If so and if he did in fact have info on who you were it would be public in a very big way and even if he only had shreds of evidence it could lead to you after in the media.

jmo but best case the kid takes a pay off and shuts up...if I were Satoshi...thing is, if he really knew you a pay off would not buy silence for long.

So now my thought flipped and this could very well be how he comes out of hiding because the end result, criminal charges or pay off, both lead to his exposure.

Good find.

I'm 99% sold on the chain of links that it's him.

But there is the 1% that thinks we might have another Dorian Nakamoto moment.

Worth hauling him in to teach him a lesson at the very minimum. He seems like a real piece of work. Could be doing him a favour and saving him from a life behind bars.
