A couple of years ago I posted my theory of who Satoishi was. God, I hope I am right if this hacker outs him. Then I can lord it over you all unmercilessly. You will never heard the end of it, how I was right and you ignored me. Vindication at last.
Ehhh, I don't really care if you had it right or wrong, I don't know who you are or who you claimed it would be, and I don't care who Satoshi is, I'm just happy he granted us the magic of bitcoin. |

I have to admit I am loving viewing this thread and seeing everyones theories and ideas. I personally do not feel we will ever find out Satoshi's identity and even if someone did out it, could we even prove that it really is who he is unless he came forward and admitted to it being him?

You'll never find Satoshi, he went back to his home planet. He is spending his BTCs, you just can't see it because the blockchains can't synch over intergalactic distances yet.
Whoever it actually turns out to be, it's going to be an anticlimax. Nothing can live up to the hype now.

Satoshi is provably god. He wanted us to make our own monetary system, but we failed so he developed bitcoin for us. Thanks god!
This is ridiculous. It is also why he likely wanted to stay anon as he more likely then not does not want people worshiping him like this. He had a very good idea in creating bitcoin, however he was not alone in execution in the making it as successful as it is today. I agree. People who say that satashi is god or some kind of profit are, IMO crazy and give bitcoin a bad name. |

The alien theory i like it, I can understand that if you had millions of dollar you want to be private because there will be lot of people trying to steal your wealth but you would not be that afraid that you won't even give a comment on internet.  |

KDC would probably not remain silent about creating BTC. He's proudly created other revolutionary software out in the open. Also, he wouldn't have used MSVC to create it. My vote is for Elon Musk, but really I couldn't give 2 flying fucks. |

I have a new identity proposal, although its not as cool as the idea Satoshi is a time traveling alien AI. A group of hackers compromise some of Satoshi's old accounts then immediately go after Mazacoin's old website having acquired old account info belonging to Anonymous Pirate.
