Cancelled Order: 5/21/2012 - QTY:5

That's a shame. An order that old can be sold for a nice premium to someone wanting to jump in the middle of the line. I was buying orders a couple weeks ago, but have enough already. But I've seen people offer as much as $800 each.

My first Single has been shipped as of today I guess just got the email.  I'm excited!  I will repost the actual delivery date.  I'm shutting down one of my GPU based servers once I get it.

I changed my order to 3 SC Singles, topped up $303. Was told they'd start shipping from October, but my place in queue is 23 June...

May I ask why would you go from 1 SC Single to 3 FPGA Singles shipping in October when they are shipping SC singles in October?  I just want to understand your thinking behind such a decision.

I think what he means is he changed his FPGAs to ASICs.

That's how I read it.

He canceled an order for 6 FPGA singles, added $300, and now has an order for 3 SC singles.

To be delivered in October. Or October plus four to six weeks. Or whenever. Smiley

Last night I bought the SC upgrade from their website for $733, paid in BTC. Now I've already contacted them weeks ago saying I DON"T want my FPGA Single, and I only want my order upgraded to the ASIC SC Single. What do you think my place in line will be? By the time October comes around, they'll have had my payments for 4-5 months. Will I get in the first batch cuz my original payment counts toward the SC Single? Or will I have to wait cuz I just upgraded now (order #3347)? I've sent them an email asking them this question about a week ago, but I havn't heard back yet.

Tips? 1crazy8pMqgwJ7tX7ZPZmyPwFbc6xZKM9

Sorry, it's amazing how easy it is to forget to post when you receive yours.

I received my three on July 6.

Two are performing at 600 mhash/s

and one is performing at 400 mhash/s

looking forward to upgrading them... don't see the point in trading them in for replacements before October.

So all 3 of your units totally suck?  You sure those numbers are right?

Yes, my first unit that showed up a few months back has been running 800+ just fine for a while, but the three new units I got are underperforming.

As I mentioned, I guess I don't care that much as long as ButterflyLabs delivers my ASIC SC singles in October.

I'm in Rome at the moment.  The units seem to be running even slower as I left the Air Conditioning set pretty high (not worth it to possible have them run faster while I'm gone).

For 4 BFL single units plus a factory clocked 5970, I'm seeing a total of about 2Gigahash plus or minus 200 mhash.

I'm thinking 650 mhash for the 5970 GPUs, 650 mhash for my first BFL Single and 350/350/000mhash for the latest 3 BFL singles given the high temperature of my house.

I will be back home next week.  I want to get a second computer up & running so I can give these things some more space.  I'll let you know if anything is different on the second computer, but I'm not exactly expecting anything great.
