Received my BFL single , seems rev3 but invoice gives rev1. The box was making an strange rattling noise because of the fans i guess but fixxed the unit and is doing 832+ Mhz with CGminer without any noise and unit is 54.6 degrees celcius :-) Im happy with my choice for this appliance

Rev E. Runs cooler than I guessed.  Shipped with 872mh firmware but it would throttle about every minute after warmup.  It's stable now with 832 firmware with temps below 48C according to Cgminer 2.7.4.  It appears that 48C or higher triggers the overheat throttle on mine.

My order confirmation said 9 to 10 weeks.  That's Oct. 10 to Oct 17.
Hmmm...  Will I be getting one that someone else trades in for an SC???
Either way, October should be an interesting month.

I ordered on Aug 4 and was told 6-8 weeks. 

I'm guessing all three of us will get our machines before the end of October and I don't expect them to be trade ins.  I imagine they will sell those as "refurbished" but who knows...

The shipping times seem to be getting better (under 60 days), and the number of orders seem to be decreasing (3 in July and 6 in August). The latter is probably due to the ASIC perorders.

You guys think it's worth it to buy a Single and a SC upgrade, rather than a full SC Single? I could probably get my Single before the ASICs start shipping.

I opted for that figuring the "two step" would at least get you some hardware in your hand mining, instead of just waiting around with your money tied up. Plus if your orders are staggered, you won't be completely down while upgrades to SC are being sent back. Sure, you will overnight your BFL Single the day they say your trade in is available, but you know they have to receive it, verify everything, process your order and ship the new SC out. Considering BFL's current track record, not a quick process. So I bet we're looking at a 5 business day turn around at best. Sure wish they offered faster shipping.

That's why I ordered mine as well.  I will feel more comfortable once pictures and actual specs of the SC are released.

0_0 That's actually within 4-6 weeks! /faint BFL_Josh did say a massive amount of orders were shipped recently, and they were catching up. The number of Single orders has gone down since they announced the ASICs, so hopefully they'll be caught up very soon!
