My payment notification (on their end) was lost in the shuffle. All is well now and when my order is ready to be shipped I will be asked if i want the single or if I want to upgrade my order. They said their inbox is flooded with ASIC emails and requests, which is no surprise. Excited for a Standalone ASIC unit now! lol
Will they be doing that with everyone?  It's a good way to ensure fairness for those who have money sitting and waiting with them... they get the first spots in line if they want to upgrade to ASICs.

I would assume so. The rep stated that at some point everyone will end up getting an email to upgrade or cancel when they are no longer shipping singles at all.

Which at face value is a cool offer but how long must one let their money sit with them for this privledge??

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

I just want to add that I don't plan on starting a wait list for the ASICs. I think this one is enough for me.  Grin

Here's code for the table:

I was hoping delivery time would get back down to 50 days range after the whole out of casings issue. I was completely wrong, and it seems like delivery times are actually going up... (unless people just are not updating us).

You done good tarrant_01. Much appreciated. lets have a bit penny drive for tarrant_01... c'mon, you're not going to miss .01btc.. If you've benefited from this list you should consider giving a little bit. (it may be the incentive we need to trick another person into maintaining an order/ship list for the ASIC line)  Tongue

Well their statement "We have come up with a way to ship without invoking import taxes for our customers" is a complete and utter lie and rubbish.

The Single cost a total of £90 ($140) import tax.

Should've ordered a Cairnsmore1 from Enterpoint if you're based in the UK. No import tax then Wink because there's nothing to import.

Obviously don't know how that shit works, a consumption tax (value added tax or VAT) is based on the idea that your spending is taxed no matter where it occurs thus if bought outside or inside the country you pay the tax on the good or service purchased.
