Just to let you guys know, I'm having serious trouble getting transactions confirmed on the MUE network. Either there is a problem with dust collection in big wallets or there is a malicious pool on the network which is mining blocks without incooperating transactions into the new mint blocks.

I'm shutting Suprnova's MUE pool permanently due to these issues and because there is no hash for weeks on MUE.

Please stop minining immediately and (try to) withdraw your funds asap.

We had a mandatory update to v 1.0.0.2 https://github.com/MonetaryUnit/MUE-Src/releases/tag/1.0.0.2 which ignored dust.
If anyone hasn't updated their wallet to this latest version, please do asap, thanks

I'm (was) using the latest version, 1.0.0.2

There are still other pools active, so it shouldn't be a big problem when I shut down.

TBH i had looots of trouble with MUE over the time, sending funds, minting blocks, stuck payments at 0 confirmations... Only resolution always was to do a full resync which took almost half a day......

Please note, ffpool.net has disabled MonetaryUnit mining on their pool.
We will try to see if we can offer any help, if they are open to that sort of support.

It's just having the time to manage it is the potential issue.
Far better to have well managed reliable pools list us.

We still have several pools that you can mine MUE with, though I do need to update the OP, so it's not a disaster, it was just nice to use the facilities set up by yaamp on ffpool.

e-pool.net: high rejects
ffpool.net: unstable for weeks now
hashpower.co: MUE payouts delayed for hell knows how long

right now it doesn't make sense trying some pool with lil or no hashes on it, solo is preferable

Those quark problems were fixed long time ago, actually suprnova is one of the few pools who has quark stats right ;-)

If anyone knows of any other pools available for MonetaryUnit that hasn't been included, please let me know and I'll be sure to check it out.

Let's be realistic, to compete with any major online currency (be it crypto or e-money like paypal), pumping is bad. Steady progress to get attention is mandatory. And then... there is MUE, much progress has come and yes I believe in it's nice MUE can be great see: http://www.monetaryunit.org/resources/

Investors are harsh and too impatient, but the community should at least give the guys, who don't earn big money with MUE btw, a break. It was/is a holiday period after all.

It's a buyers market for sure. Pool closings are certainly playing a part. I've just launched a new London based stratum server for Exapool:

Exapool won't be dumping rewarded coins, instead I will be paying out the rewards as an averaged mining bonus at the end of each week for the month of September.

The exchanges have been given advanced notice to update to the next MUE release. Once the exchanges are updated, I will post an official update notice and notify users via the alert system.
The next release is a big leap forward, and MUE will be among a very small number of alts up to date with new Bitcoin code. Savvy users may find the pre-release v1.0.10.3 bins in the usual locations.
Near the end of September, I will push another release that will effectively EOL all outdated MUE clients, hopefully preventing any more of these rogue miner block incidents.
We are also considering options for merged mining for the distant future. We are open to suggestions, as always.

All, just wanted to make sure you are all aware, if you weren't already, a huge amount of work has been done by UpgradeAdvice to get this wallet in line with the latest Bitcoin code.
While cosmetically you may not see much difference yet (more to come in the future) there is a huge amount of difference "under the hood".

exactly the same conf that i always used. reverted back to 1.0.0.2 - everything's fine with solo.
any suggestions ?

Make sure your miner is using getblocktemplate
