This is probably the wrong thread, but I can't find the right one.

I found someone advertising this thread in a non-visible section of their signature:

I think AM / friedcat / the signature sales manager (can't find the AM sig thread) should be notified, in case the signature rules have been violated and that particular user should not be paid.

 I'm sure they are watching for such violations as  I am not being paid because I altered my sig.

hey i did not meant to violate the terms of the sig campaign. i just kept my old sigs further down as templates and thought it wouldnt matter as the sigs are cropped and hence, not visible except for the one i am actually enrolled with. no dishonesty intended. if i delete them can i be back in the sig campain and get my due as every honest people here?

I tried yes, but it was full so i just went for free with them, being a shareholder anyway and waited peacefully for sept subscritions to re-open (and since there was not any other opened add campaign anyway). Then i figured i would be better with dicebitcoin, keeping my old sigs for when the term finishes and knowing i may miss the subscription for the next one. As simple as that.

I don't have any experience of this type of campaign either, but I find myself having to pay out this month's payments. I don't know how to do it other than to follow the rules that everyone agreed to.

This might be different if this was an ongoing campaign (it is all but certain to not be one) and an exception could be made to keep the advertisers happy and wish to stay for longer periods of time, or if this was dooglus's money, but it is not.

It is simple that he broke the rules (very clearly) therefore payment if forfeited.

What I think happened is that hdbuck assumed that dooglus would put little effort into managing the campaign because it is not his money nor his company on the line and was trying to exploit what is likely a flaw in the way the asicminer checks for signatures.

Lot of people quit, but I'm not signing new people up. I'm in an escrow role, trying to make sure everyone gets paid what they're due, and that's all.

I don't know if the DB guys will continue the campaign after this or not - you'll have to ask them about that.

Don't give up hope because of something like that. I can post as much as I want with my current signature without being afraid that I won't get paid or be punished. I have a gentlemans agreement with the owners of BlockTrail and we discuss stuff if we think it's necarrasy. I get paid biweekly and the amount of BTC I get per post is quite high. You just need to find the right people to setup something like that.

I was contacted by them because I'm active in the dutch section of the freenode server and because one of the owners is one of the people I talked to quite a bit.

The quoted rules say i cannot advertise other campaigns, BUT, as regular people do not see any other adds when i post (hence i am not promoting any other website), nor did i get registered with two add campaigns simultaneously in order to be dishonest somehow. My point is that it should not account as some other advertising..

Whatever, im not going to cry for 0,01 btc. Just find that whole story very lame.

lol the whole site has serious problems with their bet system and they just gave up the control of their campaign to the escrowers, and ou interested about wether they woud accept new people?

I doubt they will have a sig campaign again, and most people would not trust them if they do, for obvious reasons
