Do join a bigger team increase the earning or is the same?

When you are mining also cure coins how much cure coins and folding coins do you earn? 50/50 ?

If I only mine folding coin will i receive more folding coin?

Thanks again for your great help!

What are the methods of staking in FoldingCoin ? (staking/mining/masternode)

And what are the minimum coins needed for each of the methods?

Also, is there a known fee reward (estimation) or a calculator?

I am thinking to get into the FoldingCoin world.

You'll have same FLDC earning whatever team you join.

When you are mining also cure coins how much cure coins and folding coins do you earn? 50/50 ?

There are about 7500 CURE that are distributed everyday: 76% to people folding in Curecoin Team and 19% for people mining and PoS.
There are 250000 FLDC that are distributed everyday to folders who have a FLDC-compatible nickname (ie including a counterparty address)

If I only mine folding coin will i receive more folding coin?

You can't mine FLDC. You need to fold to earn FLDC.
If you only focus on FLDC you won't get more FLDC.

Thanks again for your great help!

You're wellcome!

As a guy that folds, mines, and has PoS wallets, there are 101 reasons why I love that you worded it that way.  Cool  Kiss

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

FDLC isn't that type of coin.
FLDC is a type of reward based "asset" system for those that participate in Folding@home (FAH or F@h),which is a distributed computing project for disease research.
You use your computer to participate in the project and you earn FLDC based on how much work you contribute to the project (relative to how much everyone else involved contributes on a given day/month).

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

I'm sure you would have loved it even more if I worded it "There are about 7500 CURE that are distributed everyday: 76% to people folding in Curecoin Team and 19% mostly for PoS and not enough for people mining" Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Nah, my CURE issue isn't amount earned with PoW(I'm fine with earning 100-300 a day, especially selling at 20-22¢ each), it's just how the diff formula is weighted that bugs me.  Wink

That moment when you realize that you've spent more BTC on the multiple times you've listed your FOLDERPEPE for sale (because of forced 1 week expirations) than you'll ever be able to sell it for  Cry

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

I gave up on that PEPE junk a couple months before I finally moved out of using Counterparty entirely.

Counterparty is just a ripoff, pure and simple, and IMO Foldingcoin should DROP their association with that trash.

Thank goodness for "mine to exchange wallet" as a viable option!

I should've known this way back before I was folding with F@H. I stop folding just last year, and went to mining btc/alt coins.

Between the price drop (on pretty much ALL alt-coins not just CURE and FLDC) and the massive increase in folks folding for Team Curecoin (not quite double the PPD each of the last 2 months, but easily 4x over the last 3) the profitability of CURE and FLDC has dropped a TON the last couple weeks.

It appears to have dropped enough to have FINALLY stopped the rapid deployment of new folding rigs, the last 3 days has been pretty close to flat....

Thank goodness my Scrypt ASICs are making enough to pay my bills for now, or I'd have to start redeploying back OUT of folding into mining....

BTW Yey - by current standards you'd be a mid-range folder at best, I pull in more PPD a month than you have total (to be fair, I probably DO count as a heavy hitter, though I don't have 2% of Team Curecoin production any more I'm still in shouting range).

 9-)

It sure feels that way; however
  • The price close on 3-14 was 0.00000193
  • The price close on 7-14 was 0.00000615
  • That's a price increase of a factor of 3.187

  • Total New Credits on 4-14: 199031889
  • Total New Credits on 7-14: 724579840
  • That's a production increase of a factor of 3.64

Even if you haven't expanded any in the last 3 months, the price factor has risen to a level where it still pays way more than reasonably expected.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

I was talking about profitability dropping a ton the last 2-3 weeks.

I concede it's not dropped all the way to where it was at last summer.

 YET.

Pretty close on a per-PPD basis though, as your figures show.

On the other hand, I was closer to 3% of all Team Curecoin folding at my peak some months back, right now I'm not managing to stay at 2% despite some substantial additions to my farm - and my share of FLDC is in the same ballpark.

About 10 days left to earn a FOLDERPEPE card for this month. You just need to fold 100k FAH points and post your FoldingCoin FAH username in the FoldingCoin Slack #folderpepe channel.

http://foldingcoin.net/2016/11/folderpepe-dedicated-folder-special-rewards-announcement/
Slack channel (http://slack.foldingcoin.net/) does not working. How can i join to FOLDERPEPE distribution whitout Slack?

Their fees are insanely high to do ANYTHING, therefore they rip you off to use their garbage wallet.

Thank goodness Counterparty is NOT needed to participate in FLDC.
