Yes, I mean, what are the plans for the takeover?

We'll be attempting the projects they had in mind.

There were some features that the dev never released, so we'll be trying to make them.

Please remove the logo and other graphics because it hasn't been fully paid for it. If you want to talk about purchasing the logo at discounted price, please PM me.

I believe this could fly. The committee could contribute towards this.

However, @Bitcrea, you would have to show proof that you made this logo

BitCrea was the designer behind the logo, I am currently working out a deal with him.  Wink

No coins will be removed from this address unless there is a proper purpose, which will be announced on this thread.

We might need to have a Logo competition.

I think it is mandatory for us to hardfork Intellicoin and relaunch it with a premine to redistribute.

Reasons:

All Intellicoin Pools are down.
According to my wallet net hash/s is: 0
There is a HIGH risk of a 51% attack.
There is also a HIGH risk of a fork made by farms.

Why a PoW phase? Like, what's the point?why not just leave it as pure Pos?

I'm afraid the community isn't big enough nor holds enough coins to keep the chain in sync from stake only.

The PoW phase is a sort of a backup sync function. The reward will only be 10 Coins per block.

I see. Makes sense. and if it's only 10 coins per block that's even better.
Now how about the people who are currently holding INT? will a completely new blockchain be created and the current INT units will be worthless? or how is that going to work?

As stated in the specifications there will be a 10% premine that will cover the existing 8 million coins (according to my intellicoin daemon) as well as some extra that might go towards an IPO to help develop the coin.

Things we need funds for:

Icon and Graphics
Original Intellicoin Applications

my suggestion is hash with Deephash algo, ruled out multipool and instamine. and better setup a P2P pool first . let int be a pure and fair GPU and CPU coin.

check deepcoin algo here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=667470.0

The last supply will be only 10% ? Do I understand right?
Just create a new coin... why use INT for that?

Yea, I will be hosting an official pool for the coin (p2pool). Other pools will have to advertise somewhere else (sorry but I don't like risking a 51% attack like last time). Deepcoin didn't release their python hash module so I don't think I could create a p2pool and X11 has a lot of votes right now so that's what I think i'm going to go with.

Only 10 coins per block.

40% premine to cover the redistribution.

We're using INT because we want to bring it back to life, however we may need to change a lot of it's features.

If you just want to secure the blockchain either go with something that's already ASIC'd liek Scrypt or SHA or go with super low footprint like Nist or Qubit.

But hey, why not try Myriad's merge mining? I could set you up with all the necessary people?

With aglorithms that have already ASIC'd, I'm scared a farm would come along and take over 50% of the network hashrate.

I'm not really confident with merge mining as I don't really understand it yet.
