Funny that they are the only long standing exchange that hasn't screwed me. In fact, when they were hacked and my bitcoins were stolen they gave them back.

when I hear this news it makes me think their Government must be planning on buying some, at least as a hedge.

price is low I don't see the price being affected by this even though there is a large Russian contingent involved in mining etc.

In my opinion, the reason why Russia discusses a bitcoin ban is btc give a possibility to transfer assets overseas conveniently and secretly for people who concern about the currency devaluation.

Wasn't Deepbit in Russia? Maybe the legal landscape is why they flaked out? Tycho hasn't been around in a year.

Probably because if they do go under so does bitcoin for the medium term and that would hurt them even more.

Isn't the Isle of Man supposed to be big into bitcoin soon??  They'll have relaxed laws and such allowing companies/businesses to work out of there, no?

At laest that could be good future potential no?
