This, the POD guy lost all of his credibility. Not completely. Ratings 1-4 can be faked, but 5+ is the only real PoD that matters. It's hard to fake a notary and harder to find a notary willing to help you scam. That being said, just because someone is willing to give his real name doesn't mean he doesn't intend to scam. It happens all the time in the financial world. Bernie Madoff didn't use a fake name. Also, I'm not sure whether these are legally considered scams. With no actual legal precedent, issuing a coin and not developing it may not be a crime at all. I mean, Carsen Klock pushes these fuckers out all day and he's still a punk roaming around his home town. At the end of the day, it's like the perfect scam with no legal consequences. If they give their real name, so what? |
