Again  Angry

Checked my mailbox today and found this email:

sender is :" Miss.Kelechi N (kcngama0005@mail.com)

"Hello Dear ,
I am Miss Ngama. A computer scientist with central bank of Nigeria. I am 26 years old, just started work with C.B.N. I came across your file which was marked X and your released disk painted RED, I took time to study it and found out that you have paid VIRTUALLY all fees and certificate but the fund has not been release to you. The most annoying thing is that they cannot tell you the truth that on no account wills they ever release the fund to you; instead they let you spend money unnecessarily.

I do not intend to work here all the days of my life, I can release this fund to you if you can certify me of my security, and how I can run away from this Nigeria if I do this, because if I don't run away from this country after I made the transfer, I will be Seriously in trouble and my life will be in danger. This is like a Mafia setting in Nigeria; you may not understand it because you are not a Nigerian. The only thing I will need from you to release this fund is a special HARD DISK,I will need two of this hard disk to recopy your information from the corrupted one, destroy the previous one, and punch the computer to reflect in your bank within 24 banking hours.

I will clean up the tracer and destroy your file, after which I will run away from Nigeria to meet with you. If you are interested. Do get in touch with me immediately, You should send to me your convenient tell/fax numbers for easy communications and also re confirm your banking details, so that there won't be any mistake.

Regards,

Miss Ngama"

It is clearly a scam attempt: also google it and it was confirmed ....but .....
...I mean: you are going to do all that stuff and meet me without even sending me a picture of your boobs !?!?!?!?!?!

No this is too much for me to be able to withstand it..... send boobs first  Cheesy Grin

Its about time the scammers start using some other country name than Nigeria.
I for one want to run in the opposite direction as fast as possible when I hear or read the word 'Nigeria'.  Cheesy

Why would you pretend to be Nigerian? It's not even a wealthy country. I've seen news stories where they are actually from Nigeria.

Because they are looking for people really really stupid(or naive) so as not to lose their time with people who aren't gonna give money, that's also why their mails aren't even credible.
So saying they are Nigerian when a large majority knows about the Nigerian scam ensures the guys who respond are good targets.

When you are around 70 and you have discovered internet just now or something along this, it could be an easy catch.

I honestly thought they stopped sending those, who would believe that crap nowdays

Three boys at a cyber-cafe in my neighborhood actually believed they had won a $500000 lottery.

They would go to the cafe and scan various bank/identity documents and would want to email them to someone. Their behavior looked rather suspicious to me, so I once asked what was going on. They told me the whole story and then I scolded them so hard and showed them my spam box full of lottery winning emails. They nearly started crying. But it was good they stopped before anything actually happened.

They were between 14-19 years age. You would think the kids in this age would be rather smart, but not everyone has internet access so easily and the online world is rather new to many people.

Why the hell would you pretend to be Nigerian to scam people? Being Nigerian is the first red flag it's almost a joke.

I'd get a new throwaway phone or email address and troll them. Tell them you will meet if she sends you a picture of her boobs. They'd probably do it if they thought they might get some cash out of you.

Im getting tons of "buy viagra" or "buy cialis" spam emails in my email account, funny thing is I actually want to try Cialis to reduce my refractory period... the NSA may be spying me fapping on webcam or something, even tho my erections are decent.

Then we have these fucking "World of Warcraft" emails with fake Blizzard names on it.

And I also get some of these "send me money" emails coming from places like nigeria and what not.

The spam world is very varied it seems.
