Well what is all about  Since bitcoin network needs nodes to process things i decided to make my first node on a vps that a friend gave me [Link: bitstat.tk] soo you are asking yourself what is stoping you from making more nodes like this one? Well main problem is that i lost job and i can't pay nodes ( but i found a cheap VPS hosting  bithost.io and they accept bitcoins ), so i am asking you now for some help with running costs How can you help? We at cryptocrypt have already have setup a 10 node network to acheive this. Why don't you just join our effort?
We also already have funding.

I run three nodes on three devices.
State-of-the-art gaming computer

VPS with Linux Ubuntu

Also the idea is to recompile the nodes so that they connect to more than the default number of other nodes (i.e. 1000 instead of 30-50).

The default is 256. Mine are usually at around 80, not sure what the limitation is. |
