BitSharesX is PoS (DPoS, a more centralized variant), BitShares PTS is PoW. So the OP should perhaps change "Bitshares" to "BitsharesX".

I'm surprised BitsharesX got the most votes so far. I myself voted for NXT as I believe it is one of the most stable if not the most stable PoS coin out there. Plus it's been around for a long time and does not depend on BTC. I'm not very familiar with BTSX but I'm definitely gonna do some research now

I'm surprised BitsharesX got the most votes so far. I myself voted for NXT as I believe it is one of the most stable if not the most stable PoS coin out there. Plus it's been around for a long time and does not depend on BTC. I'm not very familiar with BTSX but I'm definitely gonna do some research now

Why do you think it's unstable? I see another situation. That's good for NXT that it doesn't correlate with BTC but as far as I know BTSX doesn't correlate too. I might be wrong, but this is what I see

I think you misunderstand, I didn't say BTSX was unstable, I said I didn't know it very well  I talking specifically about NXT here which is an older coin that I got to know better over the past months. I was surprised by the number of votes BTSX received because it's a relatively new coin and I didn't realize it was that popular. But I'll read up on it
