Hello brothers,
I bought in with money from my dead grandmother.
Now I lost 60% of her fortune (230K)
Should I cut loose or keep holding my coins?
Not sure if bitcoin will succeed or not..

Also, it's spelled "faith", you effin idiot!

You should sell all now, so you aren't such a retard in front of your family and friends.

Bitcoin won't succeed. Don't you see it, the numbers are in your face. Are you blind or something. Sell now or be a fool forever who gambled grandmas money away on internet pixels. She must be rolling in her grave lol!

Sorry to hear that man.  Dont listen to the guys who tell you to HODL.  Wait for a bounce and get out 90%.  Reduce your risk.  Keep a few bitcoins for specualtion.

Use that money and buy SPY (S&P etf.)  Just hold that until retirement

Follow Ryans thread.  Hes pretty good w TA

All I can say is that I'm not sure how long fiat will last to be a viable means of currency.

If you are looking to make a quick profit, bitcoin is not for you.

If you are seeking speculation advise on this forum, this is not the place for you.

If you want to enrich yourself in math, computer science and macro economics, you should first read what Satoshi has written, understand the fundamentals. Once you are able to form your own opinion, you will not ask this kind of question on this forum again.

Don't worry someday once we shake out all the weak hands and Bitcoin has destroyed all the banks each one will be worth 1,000,000 arbitrarily just because I said so even though I have no idea how supply and demand or macroeconomics works. You just need to believe in the FUNDAMENTALS like Math and nothing else. Trust me, just stop selling so the price stops going down and we keep losing money. You gotta have faith man! Checkmate Fiat!

The time to ask these questions was before "investing". Bitcoin is not an investment and does not behave like one. But that's the past now. It's a tough decision. I would not sell them myself because that guarantees that you lock in a loss.
It would be great if anyone knew what the price was going to do next, but no one does. i don't look at the price because it is very distorted by speculation. I look at adoption. To my eyes all is good and I expect a higher price in five years.

Just keep in mind that you don't have losses until you sell.
Also, this forum is the worst place to seek advice.

LOL really? If people listened to igorr back in the day, they would have profited. This is a great forum for advice if you aren't delusional.

He should sell now and keep what he has. It will be an expensive mistake. Or keep his shitcoins and lose everything and regret it forever. His choice.

Nice advice. But, will you repay him when trend reverses and BTC completely recovers ?

P.S. Just dig this forum for discussions happened a year ago, when BTC dropped from 100 to 70 and every second newbie was screaming about the end of bitcoin.
