What are the reasons for the bulk of the bitcoin transfers? I read an article underlying the "dark side" of the internet and TOR network, and they seem to point out that bitcoins are now nearly the exclusive currency for the online "black market" (Note, they are not saying bitcoins are exclusively used for black market transactions)

I just want to save bitcoins right now while I am still studying. I consider it as my long term investment to help me get ready for my future needs. I would like to use it for online gaming purchases, to buy the things that I want, and to help my parents with their expenses even just a little.

I try to spend my at least 50% of the Bitcoin holdings to contribute to the growth of the network as I believe that movement is a growth but, to be honest, there are almost no merchants in my city who accept direct Bitcoin payments thus I have to spend it online to top up my mobile, internet, DTH accounts. I'm using bitcoin for my studies because I'm reviewing again my past lessons since I cannot make an income on my own because it's hard to balance the life that had before compare to now. But because of bitcoin I can buy my books, I can travel near places, I can treat my mother in the restaurant sometimes and I can buy my food whenever I want a particular healthy food. if you feel uncomfortable with mining because may be a scam you can try trading, and i think your plan to learn trading next time is very good. because if you start trading with no knowledge you will lose your money. trading need skills to watch the fluctuations of coins.

Since I`m earning bitcoins I use them for gambling, partially for trading. Many times I sold my bitcoins when I needed money, now I regret a bit about it, it would be better for me if I would borrow money on other side and keep bitcoins, now would I have much more, but that is life. I don`t like to borrow money and this was like a good thing to do, so bitcoin was extra earning for me all this years I`m here. I bought some games as well, couple times netflix accounts, I plan to try HBO next time, but I plan to do that when winter come, now I spent a lot of time outside when its summer.

This thread is already 5 years old and quiet surprised that it has being bumped again and reading for those people who do post on earliest times on bitcoins existence im quiet glad to read up on their usage onto their bitcoin considering that the price isnt that too high compared as of now.If they do treat it on a simple way and spend it so easily for sure as of now they wont really do such thing.
