I have noticed that many advertisers incorrectly use targeting by referring and short link destination URL. May be phrase "Keywords" is confusing or not all users have read help before posting an ad and mistakenly suppose that this means natural language keywords like "automobiles" and "houses", which web page must contain to be matched. Unfortunately, currently I don't have enough computational power to cache contents of the websites, on which links are pointing the same way as Google AdSense does. In fact, as said in help, keywords are tokens which are being matched against referring and destination URL, not contents of the websites they are pointing. For example, if you have specified keyword " bitcoin", it will be matched against URLs like http://dailybitcoins.org, http:// bitcointalk.org, http:// bitcoinplaza.blogspot.com etc (i.e. keyword must enter exactly into URL as substring to be matched). To make this feature less ambiguous I have renamed "keywords" to "URL tokens". If you already have placed an ad with incorrect targeting settings, please correct it. Help page with detailed explanation: https://coinurl.com/url-targeting.php

Our web hoster's MySQL server seems to be experiencing some problems. Unfortunately their support doesn't work at weekends. Sorry for inconvenience.

UPD1: Install an overlay script on your website's pages and earn on each visit! When some user visits a page with this script installed, he will be immediately exposed to an ad then returned back to the target page. Advertisements will be shown not frequently than one time per day on each page for the same user. See live example: http://dailybitcoins.org/statsUPD2: You can see your refferals stats (when joined and amount of your earnings). Stats available for period beginning August 8, 2012.

It's because of ads like that that people are installing ad-killers that also block perfectly unobtrusive, discreet ads...

I try to offer as much as possible methods of advertising and it is up to the website's owner to choose an appropriate one, depending on its target audience! BTW, stay tuned! Next days I will announce non-intrusive banner advertising on the CoinURL.

Would it be possible to exclude an ad from being shown on chosen sites by prepending the URL with a minus mark or something? (eg. -http://www.bitbin.it/ ) It would be quite redundant to see an ad about BitBin in BitBin.

This is something I've been noticing since I set up banner ads at tny.im, but the style does not match the one I set up at CoinURL. If you access http://tny.im , you'll see the color of the CoinURL ad title is blue, however, on the profile for that slot, I set it to orange to go with all the other link colors. The colors I set don't match the ones that appear
